Aloha and thank you, for considering our recently remodeled Ilikai Hotel/Condo in the heart of Waikiki. A complete kitchen remake in 2016! This is in addition to our major 2014 remodeling includes new hardwood flooring, new closet system, and wall separating the living room and bedroom. The main pic you see is taken directly from our lanai (balcony). The lagoon and beach is next to the yacht harbor on the left side. We’ve stayed at many other wonderful rental vacation homes and want to make sure your Hawaii experience is just as wonderful or more!
Our newly renovated contemporary style condo is a large 620sqft 1-Bedroom Condo (including balcony/lanai which is about 120sqft) and can accommodate up to 4 people with a comfy Cal-king size pillow top bed w/ 500 thread count cotton sheets and a double-size sofa bed. (There is also a portable mattress if the kids prefer their own bed.) The bedroom is separated from the living room by a solid wall and a curtain on each side of the wall (for ease of access to the bathroom and balcony). For some privacy, the sofa bed is situated directly behind the wall. Pillows, blanket and linen provided for the sofa bed and portable mattress.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with a granite counter, full size refrigerator, glass top stove & oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots & pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, and more.
The bathroom has a shower stall w/ granite walls. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer are available. Unit includes 8 sets of bathroom towels and 4 beach towels.
Our large 120 sq ft lanai (balcony) has a nice outdoor dining table set for 4 people to enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean at every meal. There are also 2 beach chairs, cooler and a boogie board stored in the lanai for guests use. Four beach towels are also provided.
The condo also includes all the smaller finer things that will make your stay a complete comfort like a 40” LCD flat screen TV in the living room, cable TV, DVD/blue-ray player, free WIFI hi-speed internet, bath & beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, pillows, cotton linen, blanket, and of course, air conditioning. Laundry facility is just down the hallway. Our unit is located on the yacht harbor side of the hotel AND has a direct view of the harbor, ocean and sunset.
There is parking on the streets and valet parking. Street parking is directly behind the building. On one side next to the lagoon is free parking from 4:30am to 10:30pm. On the other side is a large lot with price ranging from $1/hr to $6 for 10hrs. Valet service for a 24hr period is about $30 with unlimited in and out privileges.
If you have a large number of people in your group, we do have 2 additional units inside the Ilikai Hotel. Both units #1436 (VRBO Listing #381527) and #1630 (VRBO Listing #498240) are located on the Lagoon side and also have ocean view plus Friday night fireworks.
This is a 4.5 star room w/ much more to offer than nearby hotels like the Hilton or Ilikai Marina with rooms 1/2 our size.
***ABOUT THE ILIKAI***
When you watch the classic Hawaii Five-O TV show, there’s a shot of Jack Lord on a balcony of a hotel. Yup, you guess right. It’s the Ilikai! And instantly, the Ilikai became a landmark in the heart of Waikiki. This lady has been around since the 60’s but has been kept up very well with a recent renovated lobby, earthly toned hallways, and a clean line swimming pool with towel service. Definitely at least a 4 star rated hotel. There are also various shops on the ground floor, a romantic Italian restaurant on the top floor, and across the lobby is the internationally renowned Iron Chef Morimoto’s Japanese fusion restaurant.

Phi is president of an IT consulting firm and Shinomi is a medical doctor. We've lived in the US, Asia and Europe and have enjoyed all the places and friends we've met along the way. Hopefully, we can return the favor to all our future guests. Both of us are multi-lingual, and though not 100% fluent, will try our best for our international guests. Our residence is also on the island of Oahu and look forward to make your experience a pleasurable one.

We went to Yanagi at your recommendation and loved the sashimi. However, Nico's at Pier 38 has gone upscale and lost its appeal and the food wasn't that great.
We had a blast at Shark's Cove! I think it had the most fish variety compared to a few other snorkeling spots that we went to.
Thanks really enjoyed your Waikiki condo. Location was perfect, decor was tasteful & price was good. We made use of the snorkelling gear & boogie boards. Air conditioning was great too
Great condo in very central upscale location by Marina. Very quiet with nice comfortable bed. No need for car. We walked everywhere or took the Bus which stops right out front. Nice shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Loved the fireworks too right out front on Friday nights.
I just spent 5 nights here and it was fantastic! You will want for nothing in this place- they have thought of everything! The kitchen is new and has everything you will need- just bring your own food stuffs but all mod cons are there.
The location is excellent- easy 10minute walk to Ala Moana Centre and about a 15minute walk to the main shopping street of Waikiki. There is a bus stop right out the front of the building too if you prefer to go by bus.
The views are amazing- perfect sunset watching position from the balcony!!
The bathroom is great- nice big shower and everything provided including shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

We were very pleased with all aspects of the condo. Fourth floor is a good location close to elevators, listening
to the water fall from garden below, sunset & harbor views. Appealing interior design and completely modernized.
Pool is an added attraction, along with Cinnamon Restaurant is a good value providing quality food and beverages.

Booked this Condo at the last minute and was completely satisfied with my selection! The owners were great to work with and have outfitted their condo with all of the comforts of home. Other family members were also at the Ilikai for a family wedding and were jealous of the way my unit was furnished + all of the great extras - plenty of towels, 4 nice beach towels, nice beach chairs, etc. I highly recommend this unit!
From the time we arrived we felt at home and didn't want to leave. Phi met us as we arrived and gave us suggestions on local restaurants and must see locations and activities. The view overlooking the marina was spectacular and found the location perfect for getting to every activity we had on our list. The room was clean and cool and the bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of towels and the room was supplied with a number of items to take to the beach. The staff at the Ilika are also exceptional and although they referred to us as "condo" guests we had access to the amenities of the hotel which was great. This was our first trip to Hawaii but it will not be our last and when we are in Honolulu we hope to stay here again.
This is the prime location central location to walk to many places and the beach is right behind our building.
