We are Indiana transplants who now love living on Marco Island. Our 27 year history on Marco of vacations and ownership of 6 properties led us to invest in this prime vacation condo. Being local, we know The Apollo to be an upscale, well maintained, secure, and popular destination for many returning guests. Our proximity also makes it possible for us to maintain and upgrade the condo for continual 'top-grade' experiences for our guests!

Why owner chose Florida South West

This desireable condo has it all! Top floor end unit with windows on 3 sides for East, South, and West exposures. Catch the views with sunrise over the Ten Thousand Islands and breathtaking sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. We have completely redecorated the entire space, starting with new ceramic tile diagonal flooring. All new furniture, lighting & plumbing fixtures, appliances, window coverings, linens, and bedding with fresh paint make this 'show model' new! The 3 flat screen TV's on cable, 2 DVD players, and high speed wireless internet (secured) let you stay connected with the modern world if you choose. But, you might just decide to get into the laid back Marco mode with T-shirts, flip flops, and sunscreen. Coffee on the lanai as the beach and Gulf come alive in the morning, feet in the sand during the day (walk out private access), cocktails for the amazing sunsets. This is an easy place to be!

What makes this condo unique

The Apollo is a favorite destination for many on Marco Island's fabulous Crescent Beach. At the South end of 3 miles of groomed white sand, it sits in a prime spot for beach goers, with a short walk for water sports rentals, volleyball, or Parasailing. A short walk down the streetside gets you to multiple restaurants, shopping, convenience store, spa/salons, movie theaters, and resort hotels. By car you can find all you'll need on the island, but a 30 minute drive South takes you into Everglades City for a Ten Thousand Islands experience. 25 minutes North is Naples with it's world class shopping, dining, and sightseeing. Marco's marinas offer many ways to enjoy the water, either offshore or backwater.

The Apollo has air conditioned common areas, 7 days/week manager on duty, garage parking, and secured entry. The building and common areas are impeccably maintained. Large freshwater pool, hot spa, fitness room, sauna, and tennis courts are available for all guests. Apollo has it's own private beach access, so you're just steps away from the elevator. Sunset Grill is a lounge/restaurant located on the ground floor of Apollo. It offers great food and cold beer (full bar), indoors or outside. It's a busy place and a local favorite!

Wonderful! Definitely would visit again. Marco Island was very quiet - didn't have to wait long for restaurants, traffic was easy. The condo was clean and had every thing we needed. The pool was nice, but I only stuck my foot in the water because the beach and ocean were perfect! :)

Amazing view and super clean

This top floor "home on the beach" exceeded our expectations! The view of the ocean from the 10th floor is breathtaking. The unit is clean and well cared for. Great wifi and technology. The pool and jacuzzi were nicer than we expected, the building is clean and very well run. Quick and easy access to the beach. We enjoyed dinner at the downstairs restaurant/bar.

Did we mention the AMAZING ocean view?! The kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed the provided beach chairs and beach towels. In unit wash machine and dish washer are handy. Who would want to stay in a hotel when you could stay in this spacious 3 bedroom home?!

Key pickup and return was easy. Staff at front desk in the lobby were helpful. We had the pleasure to meet the owners on our way out, and they were delightful.

We would absolutely stay in this unit again in the future!

Perfect Place on Marco

The design of the condo is perfect for a stay on the beach. The master bedroom faces the ocean and provides perfect moonlight views. The kitchen and family room also face the ocean always providing a view. The condo was very clean and check in and check out was a breeze. The bonus was having the bar and grill on the property. We shared the condo with another couple and we both felt we had plenty of space. We usually stay at the Mariott or Hilton when we visit Marco. I found this to be a fantastic way to vacation.

Location & View Unbeatable At The Apollo

Just got back from a 10 night stay in Marco Island and everyday it was sun and in the 80's, this was through the Christmas break so the weather was amazing for this time of year. I found the Apollo condominium online and it was available for our week and a half, room 1001 top floor (10th floor), a three bedroom that was well decorated and beautifully furnished condo overlooking South Beach and the Gulf of Mexico. The building itself is not new but it is very well maintained, extremely clean and located in the best spot on the whole island, the best view of the Gulf and private access to the nicest beach I have ever been on, the clean white sand is absolutely amazing!

The Apollo is a short walk to a half dozen very good restaurants and even has a restaurant right in the building facing the beach. The condo staff is extremely helpful and make you feel right at home. The condo was going through an elevator remodel so there was only one elevator to use while we were there but we managed fine. The pool and tennis courts were spotless as was the gym area, no complaints at all about the property.

As I said we stayed on the top floor end room #1001 which has three bedrooms, and sleeps 6 comfortably. The dining/living room area is very big and has lots of good seating ad has a beautiful large dining room table. The whole condo has very nice ceramic tile and has an absolutely amazing outdoor covered patio facing South Beach and an amazing view of the Gulf of Mexico, with loads of outdoor chairs and furniture it was hard to spend time inside.

The only negatives to room 1001 was the kitchen was a bit dated (very clean though), the shower pressure in the master bedroom bathroom was not good at all but would be an easy fix for the condo owners and the property was extremely pricey (prices seem to really increase this time of year normally anyway) but as they say, you get what you pay for :) .

Overall, my wife, my two daughters, my parents and myself could really not complain about anything about this property except for a few minor things, we loved the place and had an amazing Christmas 2016. We Will Be Back!

Great views, right on the beach

The views were great! We had a corner unit. We could see both the city, and gulf view. The location was great for walking, and sitting on the lanai and people watching. The restaurant was on the first floor, reasonably priced, and had a good selection of drinks and food.

We even got to see dolphins!
