We are Indiana transplants who now love living on Marco Island. Our 27 year history on Marco of vacations and ownership of 6 properties led us to invest in this prime vacation condo. Being local, we know The Apollo to be an upscale, well maintained, secure, and popular destination for many returning guests. Our proximity also makes it possible for us to maintain and upgrade the condo for continual 'top-grade' experiences for our guests!

Why owner chose Florida South West

This desireable condo has it all! Top floor end unit with windows on 3 sides for East, South, and West exposures. Catch the views with sunrise over the Ten Thousand Islands and breathtaking sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. We have completely redecorated the entire space, starting with new ceramic tile diagonal flooring. All new furniture, lighting & plumbing fixtures, appliances, window coverings, linens, and bedding with fresh paint make this 'show model' new! The 3 flat screen TV's on cable, 2 DVD players, and high speed wireless internet (secured) let you stay connected with the modern world if you choose. But, you might just decide to get into the laid back Marco mode with T-shirts, flip flops, and sunscreen. Coffee on the lanai as the beach and Gulf come alive in the morning, feet in the sand during the day (walk out private access), cocktails for the amazing sunsets. This is an easy place to be!

What makes this condo unique

The Apollo is a favorite destination for many on Marco Island's fabulous Crescent Beach. At the South end of 3 miles of groomed white sand, it sits in a prime spot for beach goers, with a short walk for water sports rentals, volleyball, or Parasailing. A short walk down the streetside gets you to multiple restaurants, shopping, convenience store, spa/salons, movie theaters, and resort hotels. By car you can find all you'll need on the island, but a 30 minute drive South takes you into Everglades City for a Ten Thousand Islands experience. 25 minutes North is Naples with it's world class shopping, dining, and sightseeing. Marco's marinas offer many ways to enjoy the water, either offshore or backwater.

The Apollo has air conditioned common areas, 7 days/week manager on duty, garage parking, and secured entry. The building and common areas are impeccably maintained. Large freshwater pool, hot spa, fitness room, sauna, and tennis courts are available for all guests. Apollo has it's own private beach access, so you're just steps away from the elevator. Sunset Grill is a lounge/restaurant located on the ground floor of Apollo. It offers great food and cold beer (full bar), indoors or outside. It's a busy place and a local favorite!

Great Views

The apartment is on the top floor of the Apollo condo. The check in process was easy & hassle free. The two concierges I met were very helpful & gracious. The unit itself has a great view. The balcony is spacious. The apartment is a little dated. The TV in the living room didn't work. It was no big deal. There are two other tv's. Couple of annoying things. You need keys for everything. Pool, elevator, front door , and unit itself. Make sure your hands are free for elevators. Also which is not in control of the owner. All shades have to be drawn by 9 PM. Sea turtles migrate on the beach below. So you really can't hang on the balcony unless your there in the dark. Apparently the Marco police patrol the beach to see if your compliant. If they spot any LIGHTS you will receive a fine from 1K to 5K! The pool is ok. Not the smallest or biggest. The apartment overall was fine for our short stay. Btw I don't give 5 stars unless apartments are impeccable. So please don't hold the 3 stars against the owners.

Stay at the Appollo

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Apollo. The building was a little older than we anticipated, but the unit was nicely updated and very spacious for two adults and two children.

The views from the balcony were amazing, we enjoyed eating breakfast and watching the sunset on the balcony. The location is excellent, very close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. We also enjoyed lunch at the restaurant in the building, food, drinks and service were very good.

We will be back again next year.

We loved Marco Island. Our room was amazing. The staff was great. We loved the Sunset Grille. The beach was beautiful and so was the water. I'm sure we will return to this resort. Thank you for making our family vacation amazing.

Beautiful Condo

If you are searching for a condo on Marco Island, stop searching and reach out to the owners of this Penthouse beachfront unit. This is our second year visiting Marco and our second year at the Apollo penthouse. The condo is kept up, clean and very spacious. There are plenty of towels (both bath and beach) to support three bedrooms and two baths. Having a washing machine and dryer in the condo is such an asset. The furniture has recently been updated and the sunsets off of the balcony or at the beach are amazing. We snorkeled for shells, sand dollars and even swam through schools of fish.

While the condo is simply worth every penny, the views are actually priceless. However, the most satisfying matter is the attention the owners give. You will get a response within 12 to 24 hours, they are very approachable and extremely easy to communicate with (either by email or text for me). I also need to mention the pool and easy beach access. Not a negative thing to say about the Apollo.
