Inside you will find comfortable furnishings throughout making this home very relaxing after a hot day on the beach. No need to worry about room for the whole family, this 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath with additional queen sleeper sofa in the living area sleeps 10 comfortably. The Master bedroom has a king sized bed and the privacy of a Master Bath. Two more rooms have Queen beds and in the last bedroom there are 2 twin beds. The kitchen, dining and living area boast an open floor plan so family and friends can enjoy each other's company. If you want a memorable vacation this is the one for you.

AWESOME Choice

If your goal is fun and relaxation for the entire family, this is an awesome choice. This house is perfect! Our group ranged in ages from 7 months to 64 and we all had one of our best vacation weeks ever. Do bring a child gate for the stairs if you have little ones, otherwise you will be following them up and down constantly. This location is ideal for parents who still enjoy the nightlife. Once the little ones go to bed you can sit out on the porches and listen to live weekend music from Loggerhead’s. The covered porches stretch from end to end of the house. The house is also close to the town center and the beach so everyone in our group could come and go as they pleased whether they were going out to eat, hitting the nightlife, having ice cream on the pier or doing some local shopping. Everything in the house is in good condition and the owner is very accessible, along with their management company, if you have questions. Finally, the rental was able to accommodate all of our vehicles so there was no need to worry about parking. All of us parked our cars upon arrival and did not get back in them until we were ready to leave. I would HIGHLY recommend the property as we all had a great time here.

Great house-great location!

We are 19 days into our second three month winter stay in this 1500 square foot townhouse with four bedrooms. The home is clean, nicely furnished and has tv's in five rooms and fast internet. The master bedroom has a king bed with a very comfortable mattress. Folly Beach is a great place to stay and this home is two short blocks from the beach. My wife and I love this townhouse and the restaurants and activities in the Charleston area and hope to be able to stay here next winter as well. The owner, Hannah, is a pleasure to deal with and was a great help with two minor problems we had during our three month stay last winter. (January-March 2015). The property manager does a decent job of addressing issues in a timely fashion. We highly recommend a stay at this property. As noted In a prior review, however, there are several flights of stairs and the property is not designed for individuals whose mobility is limited. This home is very spacious and is even nicer than pictured. You will be pleased that you chose this property for your stay in Folly!

Fantastic Stay

I don't know where on the island you can stay with a better location or a better house! One block from the ocean and the downtown area! My kids 13 and 9 loved the fact that we rented a golf cart. We didn’t need it since everything was in walking distance, but it was a great idea because each morning we'd wake up and explore the outer parts of the island. This cozy house is exactly like the photos, and even larger and better than we expected. It’s beautifully decorated; amazing use of space and it didn't feel like a rental.... it felt more like a home.... especially with the attention to detail! We did have one hiccup with one of the toilets but the management company was quick to respond and so was Hannah, the owner. We loved it so much that we rented it again before we left!!! Thank you for a great stay! It was beyond our expectations!

We want to keep this Folly house all to ourselves!

This house has it all and it's just a quick walk to the beach. We don't want to talk this house up too much because we want to keep it all to ourselves! The owners are super to work with along with their management company. This house is really cool... you'll love it! The property is exactly how it appears in the pictures. It is 1 block from beach access, so it is a very easy walk. There is a nice fenced yard with an outdoor shower to wash off your sandy feet or toys. The upstairs Master Bedroom was comfortable with its own bathroom. There is also another full bath right down the hall with 2 more bedrooms (1 with 2 twins and the other with a queen). Downstairs there is a queen bedroom off the kitchen, dining and living area along with a half bath. The kitchen was very clean and large. It had a big copper-top table that would be nice for family meals. The best part about this house, other than the close proximity to the beach and downtown Folly, is its cleanliness. The bed linens, floors, and kitchen were all very clean, which is always nice when you are staying away from home. I would recommend this home to families that would like to be close to the beach. The only people I would not recommend this to would be elderly or handicapped because it is multi-level and there are stairs every floor.

Good stay but could be improved.

• - Listing was very accurate regarding location and layout. We had a few issues with the refrigerator leaking upon arrival there was a large puddle in the kitchen. It appeared as though it turned off or the controls were set incorrectly and entire freezer and fridge were warm. We immediately called Fred Holland Realty and they said no one could come out to the house until the morning. With 6 people in a house we were looking to cook dinner and such and really could not do that. I negotiated money back so we could go out and buy coolers, but really this added extra time and annoyance. The money is fine to help out, but the management company should have walked the house before giving us the keys.

• Was the property clean and well-maintained? This was the biggest issue we had with the home. I do not think it reflects upon the owner as much as the management company. We arrived as mentioned the refrigerator had leaked all over the kitchen. I had called for an earlier check in and was repeatedly told I could not since cleaners were there at the property. This statement is interesting since when we arrived the house ‘looked’ clean but after making our beds and settling in we had many cleanliness issues. I do believe that the house experience would have been significantly better if we didn’t feel the need to clean before cooking or hanging out.

• - Found pills on the floor of 2 bedrooms. We also had a small dog with us so thankfully WE found them and not him.

• - A pair of underwear was found behind the mattress when making the bed in the room with twin beds. (This might have been the most disgusting.)

• - The washer and dryer were full of sand so when we tried to wash the towels that we used to sop up the water on the kitchen floor, this was a problem. (Fred Holland only gives enough towels for the exact amount of people. i.e. no extra towels to bathe with if you use them to clean up a ridiculous mess.)

• - Dishwasher had dirty dishes

• - Bathrooms had hair in the tubs. (I understand this is difficult to clean, but we pay for a cleaning service in this house rental.)

• Did the owner or manager provide good customer service? The house itself it very beautiful and welcoming. The management company definitely could use some pointers on better managing the properties. If they can’t handle the amount of homes they have appropriately they should scale back.

Excellent girls weekend!!!

This Folly home is a must rent!! We had a blast!!! This home hosted a perfect girls weekend! We couldn't have imagined staying anywhere else - perfect location! We are already making plans for coming back to Folly in the spring! Hannah, the owner, was wonderful to work with. Thank you for your recommendations - Taco boy, woody's and lost dog cafe were delicious! We walked everywhere in Folly. The walk to the beach was easy, we spent our first full day relaxing day on the beach and our second full day was spent in Charleston. We ate at Cru Cafe in Charleston - so good!! Again, thanks for everything! It was definitely a great first experience for us all!!

Life on Folly Beach follows a fun, relaxing pace. During the winter, it is a small town at the end of the highway. In the summer, it is a vacation destination. Locals proclaim, "We have the best waves, the best nightlife and the best beach atmosphere along the Charleston Coast.”

Folly Beach is a natural barrier island that forms the outermost western tip of Charleston Harbor. It is the home of the famous Morris Island Lighthouse, colorful locals, sand, sun and some of the best surf on the East Coast. Also home to many species of endangered wildlife, Folly is a nature-lover's dream complete with a maritime forest and dolphin-filled waters. Due to the abundance of outdoor activities and water sports, this normally sleepy beach town comes to life during the warmer months, welcoming visitors and locals alike to water-ski, fish, crab and surf. Folly offers the best of both worlds with six miles of beach on one side and equally stunning river views on the other.

For many, Folly is considered "Charleston's Beach" because it is conveniently located just 10 miles from the Downtown Charleston (20 minute drive). Refundable damage deposit $100

Monthly rentals are allowed November through February and require a $300.00 Refundable Damage Deposit. Rentals 90 days or more are tax exempt. Rentals less than 90 days will require taxes to be added to rate.

Housekeeping, linens along with all taxes and fees are included in all short term rental rates.

Deposit is required within 7 days of reservation. Deposit is 1/2 of the rental rate prior to any taxes and fees. Payment in full is required 30 days prior to arrival date. Damage Deposit is refunded within 30 days of departure date.

We only allow 7 night rentals during the summer holiday. Turn Day during summer holiday is Sunday.

During the off season we require a 3 night minimum.

Cancellations must be made via email 45 days prior to arrival date for full refund.
