PLEASE NOTE: We welcome all inquiries ! However -- all reservations are made exclusively through the property manager at the Beach and Yacht Club. The B&YC board insists on doing things the old fashioned way and prefers to speak or email directly with each guest and believes that this provides the best personal customer experience for our guests.
The less you spend to book a reservation means more that you can spend while on your vacation! B&YC also has a policy that no credit cards are accepted to reserve a booking. Checks only. As a result, no online bookings may be made to reserve this property. This results in a cost savings to you since there are no 2% or more mark ups in rates due to credit card fees, and no additional online booking service fees of 8% or more are imposed by Home Away or VRBO, etc., onto our rental guests . About 401 A ---- It has two bedrooms, and two full baths--with additional sleeping available with a queen-size sleeper sofa as well as a sleeper ottoman (twin size) in the living room area,-- which the kids especially seem to love! This condo can easily accommodate up to 6 or 7 guests !
Furnished with upscale appliances, granite counter tops, beautifully finished cabinetry and travertine marble floors, within an understated color scheme reflecting the seascape, you can almost feel any stress you may have falling away the minute you enter the door! The master bath even has a Jacuzzi-style jetted tub. The 9 ft. ceilings and views of the Gulf or Old River throughout this unit all add to the feeling of relaxation. We even provide some luxurious spa robes in both adult and childrens' sizes to add to your apres-beach day comfort and for your use while visiting our condo. Forget your flip flops or beach crocs ? No problem - the condo has been stocked with a variety of sizes and colors that you can borrow during your visit that fit most adults and children .
Plus - the guest bedroom has its own private balcony with a beautiful view of Old River. 401-A Guests can actually enjoy this view! (As opposed to some other properties that have guest bedroom windows that face a connecting hallway between other condos on the same floor ---and for them it means having to keep the blinds permanently closed for privacy from passerby traffic.).
The owner of this unit and his partners were the original developers of this beautiful condo project some years ago, and it is one of the few which span both sides of Perdido Key Drive. This unit is one of the most recently added to B&YC's rental program, and we have also made the commitment to tithe our rental proceeds in thanksgiving for all our visitors who have chosen our condo for their vacation destination.
Plus, in case you don't already know, B&YC's amenities, in addition to the beautiful sugar white sand beaches and the gorgeous Gulf view, include its heated swimming pool, two Omni tennis courts, and boat slips and launch for its guests who want to go fishing or just take a ride on Old River or the Gulf. Each condo even has a designated covered parking space!
There is also a central group meeting area and an exercise room in the pool-side building for those who want to maintain those buff beach bodies!
This condo was completely redecorated just a few years ago, and we hope you will enjoy the beautiful and serene 'Seaside'-like setting -- we think it is the perfect place to relax and recharge beside those gorgeous sugar-white beaches!
We also regularly update and refresh the condo in our quest to delight our guests. Most recently, we have removed the carpet from the hallway and bedroom floors and replaced it with a reclaimed driftwood oak style plank flooring which beautifully complements the travertine marble in the rest of the residence.
We hope you will agree that our condo's location might be a perfect getaway for young couples; those who are young at heart; family gatherings ; or even reunions with some of your dearest and life-time friends!
Since we aren't interested in the 'party-like-a-rock-star' spring breaker market, no rentals will be accepted from single young adults under age 25. In one of the few other restrictions, ours is a 'no pets' condo. All B&YC rental condos are no-smoking units.
Activities available in the area include golf, sailing, boating, jet skiing, para-sailing, and many more. Dining choices are numerous and only minutes away!
