Welcome to Houston!
Located in a beautiful, eclectic post-war neighborhood in the heart of Houston, our guest cottage in Lindale Park is the perfect location whether you're here for business, visiting family, a concert at the WOMH, a game at NRG or the Toyota Center.
Awesome local restaurants and close proximity to everything make our neighborhood a perfect location for your Houston visit.
See you soon!
Built in 1946 and freshly renovated, we designed our guest cottage to be a bright, clean and comfortable retreat for our visiting family and friends (you're the latter)!
Morning sun streams in through the large double doors, and ambient lighting keeps the evenings cozy as well.
Relax in the morning sun with a cup of coffee and a vintage book, and when evening comes help yourself to a glass of wine or local beer and flip on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video or Playstation Vue.
If you're here for work, we have made clever use of space with several bright, focused work spaces within the cottage.
As our guests, you'll also have access to our patio, and gas grill if desired.
We also have laundry within our house, and I have a bunch of additional coffee accessories and whole bean coffee, if the provided drip coffee isn't suiting you on a particular morning.
Interaction with guests
My wife and I live in the main house on the property, so we'll be more than happy to help out whenever possible.
We love to eat and drink - and we think that Houston has a lot to offer in that area - so we'll gladly point you in the right direction if you'd like.
Feel free to ask us anything. Of course if you'd like privacy, we're more than happy to be completely hands off as well.
Our neighborhood is an eclectic urban neighborhood within the inner loop of Houston just minutes from downtown.
Amazing, authentic Mexican food is in walking distance or a short drive, and one of the best Thai-Lao restaurants in Houston is just a short walk.
There are multiple breweries, ices houses, and a wide array of restaurants within a five minute drive.
The newly opened White Oak Music Hall is less than three miles south of us, and is easily accessible via car or light rail.
We are just a five minute walk from the Lindale Park Houston METRORail red-line stop, which will easily connect you to downtown, the Med Center, NRG for Texans games or Rodeo, White Oak Music Hall, and many other popular destinations. Jumping onto the Green or Purple lines downtown, you can access BBVA and other EaDo destinations as well.
With easy connections to the METRORail, this is one of the few neighborhoods where a car is not a necessity.
If you do have a car we are about 7 minutes from the Heights, 7 minutes from downtown, 15 minutes to Montrose, Med Center and Galleria, and 20 minutes to either airport.
