For many years, my husband and I have rented vacation rental homes, on our annual cross-country ventures with the kids, and several times for adult getaways. We enjoyed have the extra space and comfort of home, while being able to enjoy home-cooked meals, play games, or just hang out comfortably together. We've held vacation time share property for more than twenty years. After a long corporate career, I obtained my real estate license and have been specializing in property management and real estate investments using 401K retirement funds. This property is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet so very close to many restaurants and bars (O'Gara's, Starbucks, Neighborhood Cafe, etc.) and just a couple of blocks from Whole Foods, Starbucks, cafes, shopping etc. It is centrally located to the St. Paul colleges, so it is handy for families visiting students. And for those venturing to concerts, sporting events, or other activities in either downtown, metro-transit (bus or light rail) is very close, and the entrance to I-94 is literally a block and ½ away. It's the perfect spot to experience the area, while feeling quite at home.
What makes this House unique
Off-street parking is desirable, and we have plenty--we paved a lot off the back alley that will comfortably accommodate 4 vehicles. While this is necessary in the event of a snow emergency in the winter (when the streets need to be plowed), it is also truly a convenience if the street parking gets limited.

Charming and convenient
The house retains its period charm while having modern kitchen and baths. The first floor master suite was very convenient. The location made it easy to get around the twin cities by car, as well as easy to walk to restaurants, Whole Foods and Starbucks. The host was easy to contact and very responsive. All the comforts of home, conveniently located yet on a quiet street. I would definitely recommend.

The property is located such that it is an easy walk to the light rail station. This will basically get you anywhere in the Cities. The Carroll house is very clean and well appointed with glassware, pots and pans. The beds were super comfortable and we especially like sitting out on the enclosed front porch. Parking spaces in the rear made for an easy time in and out. Overall this was an excellent place to stay from all perspectives!

Plenty of room for 8 of us to be comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked and clean. We prepared and ate most of our meals here and found everything we needed.

Great location and house
The house was very clean and nicely updated. The location worked perfect for our family weekend. The bunk beds were a huge hit for my young nephews! Nancy was very responsive and great to work with. We would definitely stay again!

Take a walk to the end of the block, to get your mojo on at Starbucks. Or walk a few more blocks to the coffee bar or juice bar at Whole Foods, which opened in 2016. Great food is found at Whole Foods, which is complete with a bar/restaurant, or across the street at O'Gara's or the Neighborhood Cafe.
