Entering the “Eliza Ann Jewett House” on the 2nd floor you will find an open floor plan with ample seating in the two living areas. Each offers high ceilings, original decorative fireplaces, and a large LCD TV with DVD player, DVD and book library are available in the rear living room. A marbled half bath is conveniently located off the hall.

The dining room is open to both living areas offering seating for 8 comfortably. The gourmet kitchen has black granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and is well stocked for cooking a meal for your family or friends. The open bar area makes service to the dining room easy.

Taking the staircase to the 3rd floor is the Two Master Suites. The 1st Master offers a King Sleep Number Bed with fine bedding, a large LCD TV with DVD player, and an original decorative fireplace. A full marble bath is right off the Master with a deep soaking tub and separate shower.

The 2nd Master offers a King Memory Foam Bed with fine bedding, a large LCD TV with DVD player, and a full marble bath with extra large shower.

The guest bedroom is on the 4th floor offering a high quality queen bed and a single futon, perfect for families with children. A full bath is off the hall.

The guest suite is located on the 1st floor offering a King Memory Foam Bed with LCD TV, separate living area with double futon for added guest, two original decorative fireplaces, a table for 4, a mini frig, a Gaming Table that easily converts between Foosball, Mini Air Hockey and a Pool Table, a tiled bath, and a private entrance.

The charming courtyard has Adirondack Chairs, a Savannah brick patio, high walls for privacy, and a private two car garage. A laundry room with washer/dryer and deep sink are added extras. Wifi access is also available.

This is a pet friendly property with 20lb. weight limit and extra deposit and cleaning fee.

Walk to museums, our beautiful squares of Savannah, shopping, restaurants and cafes’, art galleries, antique shops, and tour pick up extremely easily. Clary’s Cafe is a staple for a great breakfast or brunch with Old Savannah Tours and The Sixth Sense tour pickup just steps away. We book three vacation homes a year using VBRO and some give great reviews but when you get their you wish you were back home! The Eliza Ann Jewett house is everything and more. Walk everywhere. A breakfast place 30 yards away, wonderful spacious house. The management company were outstanding from start to finish. A wonderful property in the historical area of Savannah. Within walking distance to everything you would want to see. The house has every luxury including Internet and off steer parking. The house exudes a luxurious and historical feel. Would gladly go back.

Awesome to be in the historic district.

The house was absolutely wonderful!! We booked the house for a short vacation for 4 couples who have been friends for many years. We once all lived near each other, but now we travel from 4 states to get together! The Eliza Ann Jewett house was perfect for so many reasons.

1. This home is comfortable. All 8 of us could all gather easily at the dining room table to share a meal. We could also sit comfortably in the room with the TV to watch a movie while munching on popcorn.

2. Each couple had a very nice bedroom and each couple had their own bathroom. While two of the couples had to go down the hall to their designated bathroom, it was VERY nice that each couple had a designated bathroom. We have done several VRBO's over that last few years, and 4 full bathrooms is a rare find in a house with a reasonable rental fee.

3. Being able to walk out the door and be right in the historic district was absolutely wonderful. We loved that we could easily walk down the street and see so many places with historic significance. We were able to walk to the grocery store, to a seafood market, to places to eat and to the river from the house. That was awesome!

4. It was great to have a garage for both our vehicles! It made us feel safer.

5. We loved the mix of both historical and modern in the house. It can sure be hard to mix old and new and do it well. Things can be pretty eclectic looking when that is done. But this house was very well done and mixed the two exceedingly well.

6. The house was clean and everything we needed was available. There was adequate toilet paper, soap, paper towels, dishes, spices, ect. The refrigerator had a water dispenser so we could fill our water bottles with filtered water before heading out in the morning. Our bedroom even had a fan.

Great Location

Our family of 8 adults stayed at the Eliza Ann Jewett home. We had lots of room and top notch in every way. East walk to the River and all the activities that downtown has to offer. Our car stayed parked for three days. This home is located in the Historic District and is very quiet and safe. Found the house just as pictured and would recommend it to any family traveling to Savannah.

Eliza Hewett house in Savannah

This was a great house for our family as we were attending my daughters graduation in Savannah. Comfortable bedrooms, lots of space and room to spread out, nice kitchen. Great location convenient to all that Savannah has to offer. Nice backyard courtyard. All bedrooms are either up or down stairs so you need to be able to handle stairs. Has ac but there must have been a problem with the dampers since some of the rooms were very hot and some were cool. Needs to have ac balanced.

My biggest complaint has to do with access to the house. There is a two car garage behind the house. No garage door opener was provided. Therefore the only way to get into the garage is to enter the front door on Jones street, walk through the house and out the back door, through the courtyard and then open the garage door using the inside openers. Then you can pull into the garage. Similarly when you leave the house you need to pull your car out, close the garage door, re-enter the house and exit the front door then walk around to get the car in the back alley. All this would be impossible for one person to do alone. They really should provide an opener. We actually purchased a universal remote from Home Depot and programmed it for the doors. We were able to use it while we were there.

This home was perfect for our family of 5 during our stay in historical Savannah. The house itself is gorgeous, spacious, and super clean! Each of our 3 children had their own bedroom and bathroom, which made for a much more comfortable and relaxing home base than a 5 star hotel, where we are always tripping over each other and our luggage. The location is very convenient (within walking distance of popular historic sites and trolley stops), and the family neighborhood is quiet and safe. We will definitely stay here during our next visit to Savannah! Highly recommend!

Breathtaking!

This house is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Upon my arrival I simply could not believe my eyes. It is elegant, beautifully decorated, and truly captures the spirit of historical Savannah. It was so nice to wake up every day to explore absolutely everything within walking distance and then return to enjoy peaceful evenings in the company of wonderful friends. I could not have asked for more from my stay, and I can only hope I have the opportunity to stay here again!
