Beautiful 4 bedroom Lindall Cedar home on 264 acre all-sports Sapphire Lake in L
Our cedar lake home offers a warm and relaxing atmosphere perfect for large gatherings. Special care has been taken to furnish our house with the extras to make it a comfortable home away from home for you and your guests. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths that sleeps 8-12 guests comfortably. (3 queen beds, 2 sets of twin extra long bunk beds, 1 double futon, and full day bed). Large, private upper-deck, fire pit and charcoal & gas grill are provided. TV/DVD/video in living room and TV/DVD/ surround sound system in lower level. Fully-equipped kitchen includes: microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven, coffee pot, toaster, and all necessary cookware, dishes, and spices/basics for cooking are available. Enclosed three-season room off dining area leads out onto large upper deck area overlooking the lake. Outdoor amenities includes: large wooded area (approx 4 acres), 4-person pedal boat, 2 large canoes, tether ball, outdoor grill, patio furniture, and walk-out basement area. Public boat launch is nearby. A public beach is located on Lake Missaukee approximately 5 miles away. Bed linens and comforters are provided for your convenience. (You will need to bring your own towels.) Bath soap, shampoo, dish soap, laundry soap, toilet paper, and garbage bags are provided. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.
This is our HOME we gladly share with others. We kindly ask that you respect it as such. Please take care to conserve by recycling, turning off unused lights, and keep the heat inside during the cold. Enjoy what we share, but leave it as you found it. Trust us: the only thing you will want is to never leave our home.
Please note - the area directly in front of the property is NOT suitable for docking any type of motorized water craft.

Please take care to put everything back inside to keep our conveniences available for all guests and our returns to enjoy our home.

We are a dynamic duo currently on-location in the Pacific Northwest. We had to take our game on the road for now, but enjoy coming home to our family and friends whenever we can. We are happy to share our space and trust you will respect it as much as we do by keeping it as you found it.

Since purchasing this property at the beginning of 2012 we have spent considerable time, money, and energy updating the house. We have paid particular attention to making the house a true vacation home, where you can relax and enjoy real peace and quiet.
What makes this House unique
Ample space and many ammenities make this a true retreat with all creature-comforts. We keep the space clean and organized for maximum enjoyment. You'll love the peaceful and picturesque atmosphere both inside and out. Sunsets from "The Drinking Log" must be appreciated as you settle in the wilderness-like setting of the yard by the lake. See a mama deer who likes to nest with her fawn(s) on the "island" right from the view of the deck.

With a classic view from every window at this cabin in the woods we enjoyed every day and night ofor stay. The temperature hit a low of-6 degrees farenheight which made the bedroom off the kitchen a bit chilly but the rest of the house was perfect. The large kitchen table is just right for family meals, poker games and 5 Crowns. The WII system is an awesome throw back as well as the movie selection. The surround sound is the topper! We played Rock Band loud and often and discovered we seriously need a singer in the family. The house is secluded and on a beautiful (frozen) lake. Finding the house was difficult due to inaccurate GPS, trust the written directions. We had guests from Brazil with us and they got lost one evening coming back to the house. We found them on the other side of Crooked Lake and stuck in the snow. This house is remote yet close enough to skiing and shopping which is what we love about it. We hope to be back in the near future.

The Home was beautiful inside. Beautiful location as well. Teenagers loved canoeing in the lake.

This is the second year we have stayed at the house and will continue to come back for our annual winter weekend retreat. New hardwood floor and flat screen TV in the living room were nice upgrades.
Impromptu family renunion
Our reason for visiting Lake City was a memorial celebration for my father. He grew up in Lake City and still has family in the area. The house and property provided an ideal site to meet and greet relatives.
Seclusion and Relaxation!
Every Spring our group of 10-12 guys search for a nice place to stay for our first Dirt Bike ride of the year. We found this home on Sapphire Lake and were very pleased with the place. Clean and well kept, excellent communication and cabin instructions from owner. Mornings and evenings were awesome with the large deck overlooking the lake. Plenty of room for parking (we had 3 trucks with trailers plus 2 other trucks). We used the cabin as a home base, trailered bikes to trailheads and were gone most of the day. Sure was nice coming back to a hot shower, comfortable seating, and 2 nights of laughs around the dining room table! Thanks again.
I am a High School Youth Pastor and found this listing while looking for a place to host our youth retreat. This cabin was absolutely perfect. The youth loved the space, and it allowed for plenty of relaxing and fun activities. The house warmed up quick despite it being 0 degrees outside. We even managed to get a fire going in the fire pit despite all the snow. We loved this cabin. The owners were also phenomenal to work with as I planned the retreat.
