Four Paddle is conveniently located just one block from Kalakaua Avenue and Lewers Street. This area of Waikiki has seen more investment than any other part of the city in recent years. It now boasts the best shops (including Luxury Row), a varied selection of restaurants for all tastes and budgets, great local entertainment and also the modernized Hawaiian Shopping Center. The latest additions on Kalakaua Avenue are a Tommy Bahamas shop/roof restaurant, together with a large Longs Drugs store - just one block from Four Paddle.
Additionally, it's also just a short walk through picturesque Fort DeRussy park to the closest beach. Fort DeRussy beach park, while adjacent to Waikiki Beach, has its own unique atmosphere and is usually considerably less crowded than the main part of Waikiki Beach.
There is a bus-stop right outside Four Paddle, which makes visits to the huge Ala Moana Shopping Center and Ward cinemas a simple 10-15 minute trip.

A Ritz-Carlton hotel is under construction across the street. The first tower is now complete (see photos) and operational. It includes BLT Market and Sushi Sho restaurants together with a Dean and DeLuca food store.
A second Ritz tower under construction has now reached its full height (it can be seen in the lanai view photo). Fitting out is scheduled for completion early Summer 2018.
This Four Paddle condo is best positioned between the two towers to maximize the magnificent ocean view.

Why Craig Stevens chose Waikiki
Considered one of the best managed properties in the area, Four Paddle also benefits from amazing views of Waikiki and the blue pacific. It has a distinctly 'residential' or 'homely' ambience, because it has a high proportion of owner occupied units. Many vacationers stay for 30 days, or more, and return year after year adding to the homely atmosphere. Four Paddle also has 24 hour security. Its proximity to the open spaces of Fort DeRussy Beach park and all the green space that is now being created as part of the Ritz Carlton development makes this a truly unique area. Additionally, Four Paddle couldn't be better located for those looking for a really short and easy walk to the best Waikiki attractions; shops, restaurants and entertainment.
What makes this Condo unique
The high floors on the ocean view side of Four Paddle are the premium units in the building. Also, those units at the east end of the building (condos numbered 02,03,04) are least impacted by the new Ritz Carlton tower. In addition, the 24th floor also uniquely benefits from extra shading provided by the overhang of the lanai on the penthouse floor above - you'll find that a welcome trait for this south west facing property during the day. (A little bonus is that you can also see the top of Diamond Head from the lanai of this condo!) The condos with numbers ending in '04' also have extra privacy because they, together with the penthouse condos, are the only ones where you can sit on the lanai without being visible from the adjacent lanai. This condo has a fully upgraded kitchen and bathroom including a larger bath than you will find in other Four Paddle units.

What a way to spend 3 months!
Excellent property! A reasonably priced, very clean.good sized condo with full kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, and balcony overlooking Waikiki. And, a reserved parking spot in a secure garage included. Owner Craig could not be nicer or more attentive. I stayed 3 months and my only regret is I have to leave to head back to the mainland. I could offer no higher endorsement!
This condo has beautiful view, is exactly as pictured. Super comfy bed and super sized bathroom.
Craig is very helpful and made sure that every detail is looked after.
We love cooking so our only suggestion would be to upgrade and expand some of the kitchen tools.

Perfect place for a family
Our one month stay was very comfortable with absolutely no complaint. Craig has been so helpful and effective: each time we wrote to him, we got a reply within a few hours. The location is perfect, it is close to virtually everything, beach walk Royal Hawaiian, etc. Besides there was an assigned parking space downstairs, so we enjoyed day trips to other locations on the island. The room was very clean, and there was everything you need in the full kitchen.
The view from the lanai is excellent as of now: I can only hope the second building of Ritz Carlton across the street will not block so much of the view.
We hope to come again soon.
My Honest Opinion
We had a nice stay, the Condo is located conveniently within a few minutes walk to Waikiki. The Condo building is older but is kept clean, security is good, elevators are very efficient. The unit that we leased unfortunately had major construction going on across the street, which was continuous & bothersome during the early morning. From a constructive criticism standpoint, the Owner needs to address a dampness problem, which I believe is associated with the clothes dryer not being vented to Building Code. This situation makes the rooms very uncomfortable, and the A/C ineffective due to the excessive moisture being blown into the living area from the dryer when it is in use. This may not bother short term leasors, but bothered us since we stayed for almost a month. Let me emphasize, my comments must be taken as my honest opinion, and hopefully constructive to the owner.
This condo, like all the ocean facing Four Paddle units, looks onto the emerging Ritz-Carlton development. Thankfully, over the last 2 years, by far our most frequent guest feedback has been that the construction activity did not impinge on their enjoyment of the condo. Nonetheless, we encourage prospective guests to ask lots of questions before booking - as many do. We will give you as honest and as impartial an assessment as possible, since it is in our shared interests that the condo experience meets guest expectations.
All Four Paddle condos have the same high quality central A/C systems. During this guest’s mid-summer stay, Hawaii experienced record heat and humidity. When we checked the air conditioning, we could only replicate moisture from the system when it was in operation at the same time as the lanai door was open. Helpful guidelines on how to maintain good dry airflow in the condo have been added to the Guest Welcome Book.
A memorable one month vacation at Four Paddles Hawaii
We spent one month here at the Four Paddles. We've enjoyed every moment there. Since this is the first time I am renting a vacation home, I had a lot of questions. Craig was very help and patient in answering all my question. The apartment is very clean and have everything that we needed. The residents in the building were very friendly. We are already planning to come back again next year!

Wonderful apartment. We could not ask for any thing better. We had a wonderful 60 day visit. Close to every thing even a bus stop in front of the building.
