About Nick Wynne-Morgan
Anne & I have lived in Kerry for the last 16 years but prior to that spent every summer enjoying the beauty and attractions of this beautiful part of the world. We have seven children and an increasing number of grandchildren. We love the Kerry scenery and the friendliness of the people and the local community here.
Nick Wynne-Morgan purchased this Cottage in 2001

There are views of the Slieve Mish mountains behind and the sea in front of the cottage.

Lovely Place to Stay
Staying at this lovely cottage was a true delight. The surroundings and views are just beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful and it was extra nice to have all of the sweet animals around. The beds are comfortable and I felt I had everything I needed for an enjoyable stay. It was close to all of the wonderful sights in the area and there are a few restaurants nearby. Nick and Anne are great hosts, such nice people and they took the time to give us advice on things to do and see around the Dingle Peninsula and Ring of Kerry. They also provided details ahead of our stay which was most helpful. I highly recommend staying here!
Thanks so much for your appreciative comments. Annie's Cottage is indeed a peaceful place and our pets make it that much more friendly too! This is a wonderful part of the world and we're so glad that people from all over the world decide to explore this neck of the woods and stay with us, more importantly!
we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. Nick and Annie made us feel welcome and the cottage itself was great. The information package was so well done that it made our decision making easier. The wifi and satellite tv worked great. If we are ever in the west of Ireland we would like to book again!!!
We appreciate that its not always easy becoming acclimatized to a new country / culture and environment, whilst on holiday - particularly in a remote rural place like the Dingle Peninsula and we like the fact that our comprehensive information guide was and is constantly appreciated by guests.
We also like to greet our guests personally and ensure that they make maximum use of their short stays and enjoy every minute.
Annie's Cottage is indeed a very well located cottage for both Killarney, the Ring of Kerry and Dingle as many of our guests point out. Thanks
Remote, beautiful, and well maintained
My wife and I stayed in Annie's Cottage for just shy of two weeks in late summer, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The property is gorgeous, the views are breathtaking, and the cottage itself is very comfortable and well-appointed.
Nick and Anne were great hosts, taking care to make sure we were comfortable and ready with great suggestions and interesting bits of information about the area. The "welcoming crew" team of dog, cats, and donkey also helped us feel invited and at home.
Staying in the cottage made for a great home base during our vacation - we were able to travel the Dingle peninsula, North toward Shannon and Limerick, South to Killarney and the Ring of Kerry, and down toward Cork, as well. There was more than enough to keep us busy, but we also appreciated having a comfortable space to ourselves where we could take it easy after our busier days.
I don't think we could have picked a better place to stay, and I wholeheartedly recommend the cottage and its hosts. Thanks again, Nick and Anne!
A lovely, appreciative review is always something that we strive to achieve and it seems we managed it with Alex. Whilst the cottage has a feeling of remoteness, perhaps, it is in fact only 800 metres from the nearest shop (open all hours) and 25 mins from Killarney and 30 mins from Dingle, with Inch Beach only 10 minutes away. You can walk to the sea and the mountains behind in just 10 mins.
So....all in all, a cottage that suits most people's holiday needs. Thanks, Alex, for your kind comments.
Fun place to stay while exploring the Dingle
Comfortable private house with nice views (including the stars from bed!). We all loved the outside animals - Jala the dog, the two cats and donkeys. Hosts were very helpful with planning and when they noticed her interest, went out of their way to include our daughter in feeding the donkeys. The Dingle peninsula is just so beautiful and interesting- we enjoyed an evening music session in a nearby pub, exploring Dingle town, walking on Inch Beach, and taking the Slea Head drive.
Heather managed to fit in much with her family in just four days on the Dingle Peninsula. Music sessions, Dingle Town, Slea Head Drive and Inch beach are just some of the attractions in one direction and then you have Killarney and the National Park just 25 minutes in the other direction. Plenty to do over 2 weeks even!
Our first time to Ireland
The cottage was cozy and welcoming. The location perfect for our week on Dingle Peninsula. The proprietors felt like family...very sweet and helpful. We'll be back
Michele & Joel were wonderful guests and just great fun! They appreciated everything that we suggested and loved our animals ( far more than we ever do!"). We'd love to host such a happy couple again - and anyone else they care to throw our way!
Quintessential Irish Cottage
Annie’s cottage was a perfect choice for my family’s vacation. The cottage is as pictured. It is immaculately clean, and very tastefully decorated. It is exceptionally comfortable and welcoming. The cottage also has all amenities including a well equipped kitchen with washer and dryer, coffee maker, and all necessary utensils and cookware.
The cottage is located at the beginning of the Dingle Peninsula which has been described as one of the most beautiful places on earth. This is not an overstatement. You will not regret your choice of place. There is beauty here that is comparable to America’s most spectacular national parks..breathtaking panaramas of mountains, cliffs, ocean. There are places here that will restore your faith and heal a broken soul.
You will fall in love with the animals. The sheepdog was aptly described by a prior visitor as “the friendliest dog in the world,” and so she is. The donkeys are very cute and we were amused to find that they like to have people talk to them. And, there are two gentle cats.
Anne and Nick will provide whatever help you need. They are exceptionally gracious hosts.
For groceries, Benson’s is good and very close. For restaurants and pubs, our favorites were Larkin’s in Milltown; Murphy’s on R561; Adams in Dingle.
Nick and Anne leave helpful instructions in the cottage so we managed quite well. We found the cost of heating oil to be very reasonable (we used about $23 Euros per week). We are from the New England area of the USA so Ireland's climate was mild for us. I thought the cottage's stone walls retained heat well. We seldom needed to turn it on.
All in all, we had a wonderful time and I would recommend this lovely cottage as a beautiful place to vacation.
Mary has said it all! What a wonderful summary of all that we, ourselves, think is good about our cottage ( but we would, wouldn't we, as we own and run it!).
If you're looking for appreciative, friendly, fun-loving, kind and generous guests, Mary Kay and Bob are up there with the best of them!
Please take a leaf out of their book and come and enjoy the delights of Annie's Cottage and this breathtakingly beautiful part of the world!
We will enjoy hosting all those who share Mary Kay & Bob''s love of life!
Annie's cottage and River Cottage are ideally located to access the many beaches, leisure opportunities and tourist attractions of the Dingle Peninsula as well as the scenic beauty of Killarney, the lakes and the Kerry Way. The county town of Tralee provides an opportunity for good shopping and boasts the Aquadome, a large indoor play centre, and the Kerry County Museum for those rainy days.
For those interested in history and archaeology, the Dingle peninsular provides many neolithic sites and places of interest. The Dingle Way , a 120 mile waymarked route, passes just a few miles from the cottage and you can walk to the nearby Caherconree Mountain (Ireland's 4th highest) from the cottage front door! The charm, small craft shops, and cosmopolitan atmosphere of Dingle Town is a must to experience, as is the Slea Head Drive and the Blasket Islands. Castlegregory and the Maharees are also just a few miles distant
Other Activities: Rose of Tralee festival, Horse racing, Film & music festivals, hill walking, horse riding, craft fairs, farmers markets, indoor climbing wall
Golf: There are a multitude of golf courses within a 30 minute drive of Annie's Cottage and River Cottage. Many are 18 hole championship courses such as Ballybunion, Tralee, Dooks, Beaufort, Killorglin and Killarney. Others are 9 hole course and there are even a few pitch and put courses locally for the beginners.
Some of the courses are links courses with spectacular views of the atlantic from many of the greens and fairways . Amongst these are Ballybunion, Dooks, Tralee and Dingle courses.
