This Mariner Pointe condo was totally gutted and renovated in 2012 and is all new. You can see water views from the entry, kitchen, dining area, den and master bedroom. The private screened lanai has a panoramic view of San Carlos Bay. You can see no other lanais, just dolphins, pelicans, island birds and boats. Watching all the activity will become one of your favorite pastimes.
This upscale end unit is on the second floor and has travertine tile floors throughout. The kitchen features granite counter tops, all the small appliances, cookware and utensils to make you feel right at home. You will find china or corian tableware and crystal or plastic glasses to suit you mood. It has a full size, front load washer and dryer. You have wireless internet and there is a 42' flat screen TV with HD , Soundbar speaker, and Blu-ray player. The master bedroom has a 32' flat screen smart TV also with HD.
The master bedroom features a king bed and the guest bedroom a queen. Each bath has travertine tile tub and shower surround with granite counter tops. The master bathroom has double sinks. Enjoy spa towels and plenty of beach towels.
Just steps from your front door, you will find one of two heated pools, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, kayak launch and bike storage racks as well as a grill area. On the bay side there is a new boardwalk all along the complex with a fishing pier (no fishing license required for guests). The complex has private boat slips for rent with direct access to the gulf. Slip rentals are weekly by contacting the complex manager.
Mariner Pointe is conveniently located just across the Sanibel bridge. The Island offers many activities. The famous Sanibel beach is just a mile away. It is a lovely walk or bike ride. Shells are plentiful year around. Beach chairs, umbrella and beach bag are waiting for you.
The Ding Darling Wildlife Center is fun to explore. There you can choose from guided boat tours to see marine life or either tram, auto or bike rides to see the birds and local wildlife. The white pelicans are usually visible in the late fall and winter. Enjoy island shopping or biking on the extensive bike trails. There are over 20 miles of trails on the island. You can purchase a day, week or monthly fitness pass at the Recreation Center which features an extensive selection of fitness equipment as well as many other sports and activities. After a busy day relax at one of the many wonderful island restaurants.

Randy remembers coming to Sanibel on the ferry with his grandparents who had a house on Fort Myers beach. This was before the bridge was built. His Dad also had a house in Fort Myers. Many good memories are here for us.

I recently needed to rent a condo for visiting family that could not be accommodated at my home due to limited space. I'm so lucky to have found this comfortable and beautifully decorated vacation home. My family, who are well traveled, thought this was the nicest place they have stayed at....and the view of the bay is outstanding. The owner was immediately responsive to any questions and a delight to interact with. I would highly recommend this condo and will contact Karen immediately if I need additional space in the future.
We love the view and porch area of condo. It is tastefully decorated and fully furnished. The unique restaurants and beaches are easy to access too. Love it!!!
Ideal vacation condo in Sanibel!
This was our 2nd time staying at this condo, and we loved it ! The owner is so friendly, and very quick to answer any email sent... She really works to make it a great vacation. The unit has all the items you need to cook, fish, go to the pool ( or beach) and just hang out ! The view is just amazing too.
Mariner Pointe complex is located on the quieter side of the island, and is probably best suited for people who like that. It is a bike or car drive to beaches. We enjoyed walking around the dock area by the canal and the walkway by the bay. Throughout the day we would see plenty of marine life( dolphin , beautiful birds , and even a manatee!) The pool areas are very nice too. The condo's location makes it easy to get to any restaurant , ice cream shoppe, the lighthouse, and bike paths around the island.
I would give my highest recommendation to this VRBO rental , and owners!
Paradise in Sanibel
This is the second time we have stayed at this condo and we love it. The complex itself is quiet and filled with very friendly people. We enjoyed fishing off the pier and walking around and the beautiful weather and SUN. The condo if fully stocked with dishes and pots and pans. We cooked all our breakfasts and went out for lunch everyday. We took a day trip to Naples but found it too crowded for our tastes. We are not shoppers but we found a small Sanibel outlet not too far from the causeway that my husband found good bargains. If you love shopping then the Miromar outlet is the place to go. We found a good fruit stand called Pair a Dice at the corner of McGregor and John Morris and the oranges and grapefruits are DELICIOUS..nothing like you get in the stores...Even at the Publix stores you can't find a Florida orange...they are all from California. My husband and I have high praise for the condo...the king size bed is very comfortable. It's handy to have a double sink in the bathroom and the shower is roomy. We've already made our reservations for next year!! You won't be disappointed staying here and enjoying your little Paradise in Sanibel.
Awesome condo in a great location
Karen was very responsive to any calls or requests. Updated condo , very comfortable and great views. Easy on /off to Causeway back to Ft Myers. East end of island is quiet and beautiful. 8 minute bike ride to Lighthouse Beach.
Great R & R
We recently stayed 2 weeks at this lovely condo. It was very comfortable and well appointed. We loved that we had a great view tof San Carlos Bay and often spotted dolphins playing. My husband enjoyed being able to fish from the Mariner Pointe pier. A bait shop was conveniently located on nearby Periwinkle Way. The pool and grills were close by as well. It's a great location and in close proximity to beaches, restaurants, bike paths, and shopping on Saniibel. It did not disappoint!
Our unit at Mariner Pointe has the Bay on the back side and the canal on the front side. Just steps from our door you will find the heated pool, tennis courts, and grills. Shelling is fantastic on the Sanibel Beaches, especially on the west end of the island. The beach is about a mile away and and there is a deeded beach entry at the end of Lindgren Blvd. You can bring your boat and rent a slip by the week or fish off the fishing pier. The dolphins have a playground in the waters in front of our building. Just sit back and watch the show. We hope you love it as much as we do and return often.
