A Historic New Orleans shotgun home built in about 1850 located in the Lower Ninth ward Holy Cross neighborhood in the City of New Orleans. A "shotgun house" is a narrow rectangular domestic residence, usually no more than about 12 feet (3.5 m) wide, with rooms arranged one behind the other and doors at each end of the house. Guests can access the entire home, backyard, side yard, and parking pad. The home is filled with modern and delicate accessories, which may not be suitable for children.
This is about a block and a half from the Mississippi River and levee. Many New Orleans tourist areas are a little over 3 miles from the home (French Quarter 3.5 miles, Frenchmen St. 3.2 miles). New Orleans the bars and clubs stay open all night and you are sure to find as much fun as you'd like.
