The property was beautiful, well kept, and really an ideal log cabin.

The Nest was more than enough to accomodate the four of us for our annual ice fishing trip! It’s location is just a stones throw away from the main lake, and is tucked away enough that it was very quiet and serene. The electric heat and fire place proved to be enough to keep the place warm. As an added bonus, we even got to watch the Patriots destroy the Titans on a nice flatscreen tv in HD. I would without a doubt book again for a nice winter weekend getaway for some ice fishing, skiing, or just simply; some peace and quiet. Thank you Tisdales!

Great House with Easy Lake Access!

  • 5 of 5

Our group had 3 families with 4 kids ages 5, 2, 1.5, and 2 months, and this house was perfect for us. The best part was the easy beach access. The path to the beach is short and although rocky the kids could manage it pretty well. The beach is beautiful and the lake was perfect for the kids. The water is so clear and there are no waves. My 5 year loved jumping of the dock and floating dock (as did the adults). We also used the kayak that the owners provide. The house is spacious and has an amazing screened in porch. We spent most of our time on the porch when we were at the house. We are so happy that we decided to rent this house and really enjoyed our time here. Thank you Marshall and Beth!

The cabin was welcoming and a perfect retreat for a relaxing week away with family. The swimming area was quite nice too and the lake, crystal clear and clean and perfect for our four year old grandson. We look forward to a return visit!

July vac 2017. We will rent again it was BEAUTIFUL

  • 4 of 5

We were on the go alot but we did enjoy the stay. The cabin is beautiful and so peaceful. Loved the sounds of the birds in the morning. We ate breakfast on the screened porched most mornings and sat out there at night when we got back to cabin. One morning took the very short walk down to lake and had our cup of coffee. So peaceful and relaxing next time we plan on enjoying more time at the lake and less time visiting places and people. Our last day we had some family and friends come up and we all enjoyed our time at the lake with the kayaks and then we cooked out, it was so relaxing everyone loved the cabin, lake and the peacefulness. We plan on coming back again. Some window A/C units in the

bedrooms would of been nice but we are from Fla so we are use to the A/C, it was comfortable for the most part. We would rent again most definitely.
