This a wine country gem!
This property is perfect for a couple or two couples who are very close. It is cozy and has all that you need for a perfect wine country stay. It is centrally located to all of the areas. The creek running beside it and the hot tub are added bonuses. The pictures do not do it justice and you will be pleasantly surprised when you walk in and appreciate all this property has to offer.
This is a great place!!!
This place is everything listed plus more, charming and spacious. We had 2 couples with plenty of room. It is evident that much thought and planning went into this renovation, beautifully done!!!
This cottage was excellent for a two couple getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed this house! It’s charming by the brook in the back of the house. The home was equipped with everything we needed for a few nights stay. We will be back and highly recommend this cottage!!!
Comfortable in a lovely setting
We had a girls reunion at the Wine Country Cottage and enjoyed our stay there. It was very clean, cozy, and comfy. The cottage is not as close to Napa as I thought but was fun to return to after a day of wineries and beautiful scenery.
Just a couple of suggestions:
1. The water pump for the hot tub came on at 2AM and was active until after 4 AM and is quite loud in the master bedroom.
2. The lights in the bathrooms have motion detectors which is great for night time except they sense movement in the masterbedroom -turning over in bed etc.- so they came on randomly.
3. The lock box door hinge needs oil or needs replacing.
A very charming, comfortable, inviting first impression!!
This was such a great weekend, in part thanks to the lovely accommodations! The cottage is in a beautiful setting and is so very comfortable. The house was so well appointed. It was so very nice to come back to each night! Extremely clean and supplied with everything to make it like home!
This was a perfect retreat for a girl’s getaway to beautiful Sonoma. We enjoyed evening wine by the stream in the backyard. The house was perfect for the two of us with plenty of room and everything we needed. We were close to wineries and hiking. The beds were comfortable and the house was in a quiet location. There was a slight sulpher smell when showering but this is common in certain areas. Everything was spotless and better than the pictures.
There are ten wineries in a two mile radius of this lovely wine country cottage. It is one mile to Landmark Winery and Kaz Winery. Sugarloaf Ridge State Park is a mere 1.5 miles from the house, and there you will find 25 miles of hiking trails and stunning views from the 2,729 foot summit. Also at the park is an observatory with shows and events .Adjacent to the property is a trail to Hood Mountain Regional Park where you can hike and explore forests and wildlife. For a fun, interactive lesson in California history, drive 13 miles to historic Sonoma, the site of the 1846 Bear Flag Revolt. While there, visit the Mission San Francisco de Solano where you will see rooms and costumes recreated from its 1830's heyday. At the Sonoma Plaza, enjoy fine dining and shopping. it is a short drive (7 miles) to Jack London State Historic Park , where you can see the ruins of Jack London's famous Wolf House and explore the museum. If you enjoy pampering, visit the spa at the Kenwood Inn and have a vinotherapy wrap, or a facial or massage.
