Beautiful year round ( non-smoking) lake house on South Lake Leelanau close to Leelanau, Leland and Suttons Bay. Bright, sunny views and sandy bottom for swimming. 100 feet of lakefront space and just 45 feet from the water.
Located 25 minutes from the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and National Lake Shore Park that was voted The Most Beautiful Place in America in 2011, this summer home is roomy, clean, comfortable, well equipped, well maintained. It has two floors for living with two complete kitchens that would make a perfect retreat for two families vacationing together. Multiple balconies and patio areas lets you spread out and entertain family and friends. The house is designed so that the lake is visible from most of the first and second floor rooms; the upper level kitchen, living and dining rooms, the lower level master bedroom, family room and rec room. Rooms on the lower floor open to the patios which also allows great water views and shade. To enjoy the lakefront, just slide open the glass door in the dining room or family room, move to the deck and down to the lawn and venture out into the water with its sandy bottom. The lake is shallow a good distance out making this a great area for supervising children's summer fun.
There is a beautiful dock to which you can moor your boat or jet ski. It could also be a great place to soak up the warm summer sun.
Lazy days in the sun, swimming, fishing, and boating move to evenings by the fire watching the sunset. This is the perfect setting to enjoy family time, to relax, to laugh and to play together. You are centrally located to explore the many attractions that surround you.

About Beth Robinson
Our family has been vacationing on Lake Leelanau since I was a child in Cincinnati and now as an adult with my own family living in Illinois. We are so happy to have finally realized our dream of owning a beautiful vacation home here and to start creating our own family memories.
Beth Robinson purchased this House in 2012
Why Beth Robinson chose Leland Township
We chose this property because of the gorgeous, sunny views, large spacious layout and multiple kitchens for entertaining. Also, the dock and sandy bottom can't be beat.
What makes this House unique

Great rental on Lk Leelanau
Beth's home is ideally located on Lk Leelanau with easy access to both Leland and Harbor Springs. It is spacious with plenty of room for everyone. It has a well stocked kitchen.
If you need reliable wi-fi you need to go to a local coffee shop. It is only available in the rec room of the lower level. It is a raised ranch and the lower level is typically of those, with a cooler environment.
We appreciated the washer and dryer but water pressure was not consistent.
Overall a nice rental on beautiful Lk Leelanau.
Beautiful home .... Plenty of space....
We enjoyed our stay and especially liked the two story home. Our daughter and her family stayed in bottom and enjoyed the family room and their own tv. Wonderful wide porches top and bottom. Appreciated. the dock and rented a boat for a week...had a few rainy days but managed to play card games and entertain ourselves. Only minor detail was the garbage was packed when we left after a week and no room for next guests! Thanks for sharing your Home!
Great family vacation
We had another fabulous week--our 4th year and are looking forward to next year. The location is great and there is plenty of room for our whole group! The home is well furnished but new cushions are needed for the outdoor furniture.
Great place to vacation with family
We had a wonderful vacation just last week. The house was perfect for our family. We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards. The beach was wonderful for the kids. We had plenty of room to spread out and ate most of our meals on the deck overlooking the lake. We even saw a double rainbow one night. The kitchens were stocked with everything we needed to cook. The location was great. We went to Leland, Suttons Bay, Traverse City and the sand dunes. Highly recommend renting this house.
Lovely home which is a mainstay for our family reunion.
Waterfront rental which is handy for large events due to a kitchen on each level. Home is well equipped and well maintained. Owner responded promptly to our few questions/concerns.
Great home for young and old
We vacation in the Leelanau Pennisula every summer and have stayed at quite a few different homes. We usually do not like to "rerent" because we like to explore the area. However this home has become our destination from now on. We had 13 people ranging from age 86 to 6. And everyone had a wonderful time. The only downfall is the issues with the water pressure. We were able to work it out but our showers in the AM took a little longer than we planned. And we learned to run the dishwasher and washer when there was not water in demand somewhere else. Hopefully this will be a little better when we come next time. The house itself was absolutely beautiful, clean, and soooo roomy. All kinds of places for everyone to find a spot. The decks and lawn afford a beautiful view of the lake. Both kitchens were well appointed. And the house was very very clean. Thank you to the Robinson's for such a wonderful stay.
We are so happy you enjoyed your stay! The low water pressure issue has been fixed, just needed a quick filter change.
