Why Sharon Bovaird chose Sunrise Terrace
If you are exhibiting or visiting the fairgrounds/expo center in Tulsa with a group of friends and or family, then this is a great place to stay. All the amenities of home.
It had enough beds to accommodate all of my family.
It worked out well for our family because it was enough beds for everyone and it had everything you need for the kitchen to have your own cooked meals instead of going out to eat all the time. It had a nice size deck with a grill if you wanted to grill outside, with a nice big back yard. Nice place to stay.
Sharon - great host... house?... ok kinda...
First, I want to make sure I acknowledge how great Sharon was as the owner. She was very responsive to our problems, especially the internet issues. She went out of her way to answer questions before I rented and to be there for us after we arrived. However, we did experience both good and not so good with the house. The house is clean, in a great location (for us, access to restaurants, downtown, interstate). The air conditioning great. The kitchen was fine and had everything one would need. What was not as great? The furniture was very worn. The master bed mattress was ok, but all the others were 'worn to the springs'; my daughters complained a lot about uncomfortable mattresses. The internet connection only worked about 3 hours in the evening (even with a new modem). It rained hard our second night and water dripped on my daughters head in the back bedroom. Not a lot, but enough to ruin her sleep. The back bathroom is functional but awkwardly small, and the shower was 'well used'. Many of the doors stuck, ceiling fans rattled, that sort of thing. Bottom line, the house, and furniture, shows it's age. One needs comfort and sleep, and this house would be a better value for the cost with improvements in these areas and some additional maintenance. Russ
Adorable home in a great location!
We loved every minute at the house! It was perfect for us and we had everything we needed. She had extras of everything which was helpful since we had a house full of ladies! Easy in and out with the lockbox and beautiful. Loved it.
Another great annual stay fit Chili bowl weekend
Nice property & great owner ... we will be back next year.
Very comfortable home super close to the fairgrounds!
We very much enjoyed our stay. We were there for 2 weeks as we were showing our horses at the fairgrounds. The beds were comfortable and the house was just right for our stay. We love that is is across the street from the fairgrounds. Our group stayed here last year and I am sure we will want to book for next year too. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
Nice clean house with good location close to Expo Square.
We chose this house based on location. It was good for the price. Very clean and easy to find. The driveway is a bit difficult to navigate and needs some work. Not the safest neighborhood but home was secure. Location is prime if you are wanting close to expo square! Would stay again!
Let me put to rest any fears future renters may have regarding the comment of the house not being in the safest neighborhood. It's proximity to the fairgrounds ensures that it is patrolled on a very regular basis, much more than most neighborhoods. Especially during events. It is an older neighborhood, people walk their dogs on this street all the time, neighbors know each other. I know the neighbors and I don't live there. I have many repeat clients, including those with children, who come back every year for their events. This wouldn't be the case if they felt unsafe.
Across the Street from the Tulsa Fairgrounds / Expo Center.
