Located just 20 minutes north of the Kona Airport, this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom villa offers all the amenities for a wonderful Hawaiian vacation. Stop at CostCo on the way and pick up everything that you need and prepare it in our fully stocked kitchen. The villa is located on the 1st hole of the world class Beach Course in the heart of the Waikoloa Resort. The scenic balcony lanai overlooks the fairway and Mauna Kea with table and chairs perfect for watching the sunrise or enjoying a cocktail before dinner. The unit is located on the second floor and there is an elevator in the building. The villa is within walking distance to the scenic Anaeho'omalu Bay and the King and Queen's shops which have over 50 restaurants, boutiques, a grocery store, and shops. The unit sleeps 4-6 people with a convertible couch. The Master Bedroom includes a King Sized bed with Tommy Bahama linens and the second bedroom has a Queen sized bed with new linens. The unit also has granite counter tops, mahogany cabinets, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, washer/dryer, and wireless Internet at no charge. New flat screen televisions, blue ray players, new patio set, new ceramic tile floors, furniture reupholstered, and cabinets refinished. The Fairway Villas also has on premises an infinity edge pool and elevated waterfall spa, a fully equipped exercise room, and a barbeque at the poolside picnic area. Our unit also includes a parking space free of charge as well as boogie boards, snorkel gear, a cooler, beach umbrellas and beach chairs.
We have always loved Hawaii and the timing was right for us to have a place of our own to come and stay. We wanted the opportunity to share it with guests, family, and friends.

The property is very serene and the grounds are beautiful. It is a short walk from Anaeho'omalu Bay, good restaurants, golf, and shopping.

This two-bedroom condo is just as the listing describes and well-maintained. If a problem arose, the answer/fix was a phone call away. We enjoyed Inga and Greg's place and would love to stay here again when our travels take us back to the Big Island. We loved being able to walk to the beach and not rely on a car to get to the grocery, Lava Lava Beach Club, restaurants, shops or other amenities.
We have stayed in various Fairway Villa units over the years. This is the first time we traveled without the kids and stayed at a smaller unit than our usual 3 BR + loft. Without a doubt, this is one of the better appointed unit in the development, and it is well equipped with all the kitchen utensils & beach stuff one might wish. There is also a local manager/contact person that can trouble shoot issues with the unit, a plus.
Fairway villa is well located, a short walk from the King's & Queen's shopping area. And a bit of a longer walk to the beach and the Hilton. Waikaloa is just a bit out of the hustle and bustle of Kona, yet central enough to be a good base for exploring Kohala and the entire Kona coast. It is also better located for exploring Mauna Kea and upcountry compared to Kona. Hamakua coast, Hilo, and Volcano are further (about 2 hr drive), but doable in a day now that they fixed up saddle road.
One small nit-pick is that this is not a top floor unit. So you will hear footsteps from your neighbors upstairs. This only gets to be a problem on our last day when a family with small kids moved in & they ran around on top of us much of the night. In our experience, Fairway Villa is usually quiet and peaceful, much more relaxing than the hotels in the area.
The condo and the whole complex were great. The condo has a great view of the #1 fairway & green. We plan to go again in 2017.
This was our 2nd time to stay at Waikoloa Fairview Villas. We love this are of big Island because it is close to our favorite beaches. I would highly recommended staying here.
We had such a great time in Waikaloa. This condo had all the amenities of home and more. The perfect amount of luxury and convenience. Can't wait to book our trip for next year.
This property is right next to the Marriott Resort facility and my husband was able to walk to his conference during the week while the rest of us toured around the town. We also could walk to the Queens Market place and the Kings Market place which made it very convenient for us. I highly recommend this property and it was very easy to communicate with Inga while I was setting up the rental.
