Lovely Villa Constant Noise From Construction Work
Positives for this villa are a great location in a lovely resort.The villa itself is big,nicely furnished and clean with a lovely pool area.
The negatives are the construction site backing onto the pool area.There was constant noise from early morning until late in the afternoon from work equipment including diggers and lorry’s and also water pumps running from the field 24 hrs per day .I contacted the property manager who could only apologise and said this was outwith their control. The constant noise especially through the day and during the night was not conducive to a relaxing holiday .The description of the villa mentioned construction work may be taking place however did not indicate that it would be directly behind this property.

As you stated we do have it noted in our listing that building work is ongoing in some areas of this development.
Just to explain, we were not given any prior notification of the dates that building works would commence, how long it would be going on for and which of our homes (if any) would be affected, this is not something we have control over. However, we did try and assist as much as possible and our property manager did speak with HOA to ask for the pumping times and works to be limited.
We did accept that the building work in this area of Solterra Resort during your stay was at a higher level than guest would expect and because of this we refunded you 10% to compensate for the inconvenience and disruption caused to your holiday.

Lots of space
We enjoyed the ample amount of space this home provided. Our party of 8 had plenty of room. It was equipped with everything we needed to make some simple meals, the proximity to Disney and Universal was good.. we enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well. The house needs a bit of TLC , lots of scuffs on the walls and dirty baseboards. Linens are worn and thin but in general the house was clean. The only true negative feedback would be about the beds. They were pretty firm, and the box springs all made so much noise, even just sitting on the bed could be heard through the whole house. This was disruptive during sleeping as every time you turned over it created loud squeaking/grinding noises. The property management was very easy to work with and was very responsive during the reservation process., which was appreciated.

Gorgeous house with loads of space
We really loved this house. It was big enough for two families with 5 children between us. We could not fault any of the facilities and it was completely spotless. The pool and outside area was ideal and was completely safe for small children as the doors had alarms to protect them. I would highly recommend this house and would love to stay here again. It was about 15 minutes from Disney World and about 30 minutes from the airport.

I wont rent from this company again
First of all, they charged me for 2 houses, and i only rented one. They said it would take 5 days for a refund.. then i get there and the hot tub is not hot. You have to pay for pool heat to get the hot tub heated. After an ordeal, i pay for the heat and it still didn't heat up until the last night of vacation. The manager of the property didn't return calls or emails promptly, i guess she didn't care, since they had my money. She also would not give me the owners information so i could voice my concerns with them, nor did she waive the pool heat fee. . . Nothing. She was honestly rude about it. I will not use this company again. There are multiple places in Orlando you can rent from guys.. i would suggest using a different one, who cares about your vacation.
The only reason payment was made for 2 homes is that the guest went through the booking process online for 2 completely separate properties on the Homeaway website. This is not an easy mistake to make as you have to go through the process which takes you through a number of different pages and then add your credit card details at the end. These details are then pushed through to our company who accept the booking.
Despite being under no obligation to refund we cancelled one of the bookings and refunded the funds back onto the guests credit card. This process will take a number of days to show back on the credit card which the guest said was unacceptable. We as a company have no control over how long it takes for the refund to show on the credit card.
When the guest arrived she demanded free pool heat which she was disappointed not to receive. Pool heat was paid for but the pool will obviously not heat up straight away as it takes time. If pool heat was booked in advance it would have been switched on earlier in the day to give it time to warm up.
The guest was very rude and angry about something we had no control over.
We really enjoyed. Everything was clean and nice.
It was an awesome experience.
