We loved it here!
Gorgeous location! So quiet and peaceful. Lots of space. We had everything we needed.
Thank you very much. We really enjoyed our stay.
Thank you. Very nice home with all the accommodations.
Wonderful home near the Hana Road and Haleakala in a lovely rural setting.
Clean, comfortable, lovely home with all the comforts to enjoy.
The house was welcoming and had everything we needed! The host, Jennifer, was very sweet and came by to make sure we were happy - which of course we were!
Perfect Haiku Hideaway!
We had a great week-long stay at Jennifer's place in Haiku. The house has recently been remodeled with a new layout. The living room is in the center of the house with two en suite bedrooms on either side. Plenty of privacy for two couples to enjoy. The brand new kitchen had everything we needed, including a full-sized stove and refrigerator. Plates, dishes, utensils, pots, pans - everything! There is a large screen TV in the living room with a selection of books, DVDs, some games and magazines.
There is also a washer and dryer (laundry soap provided) available, which means you can pack light. The house also has beach towels, beach toys, boogie boards, a beach chair, ice chests, etc.
We were able to spend some time talking with Jennifer and her family, and my granddaughter loved the chickens and baby chicks on the property. The area is very private and quiet with beautiful plants and flowers. Finding the house could be difficult if you're not familiar with the area, but just follow the directions provided. Although the house is tucked away, it is a short drive to Paia Town, Ho'okipa and Jaws Country Store.
We had a broken car window, and Jennifer even provided us with duct tape so that we could temporarily patch up the window. Although this cottage is on the same property as two other houses, we had no issue with privacy. In fact, we didn't see Jennifer until we had been there several days. However, when we sent a text she replied immediately. Overall a great stay and I will book again the next time I visit!
We did not spend a lot of time in the home due to staying extremely busy. The home was functional but a very odd set up. There were two couples staying and one couple had to walk through the other couple's bedroom to get to the living room. All in all it was a decent place to rest our tired heads at the end of the day however, if this was a relaxing lazy vacation hanging out at the home we would not choose this location.
