About Ken Lippi

Our family has owned this home since 2002 and it is filled with the happy memories of stays with our children, family, friends, and the many guests who have enjoyed the home. This is our second home so we do everything we can to keep the house and gardens well-maintained. It is a dream come true for us to have this 'little slice of heaven'. We pride ourselves on our many return customers and that we appeal to families with children, retired couples, friends rendezvousing on the Monterey Penisinsula, or conference goers at the Asilomar Conference Center. We strive to provide a charming and comfortable Pacific Grove cottage at an affordable price.

Why Ken Lippi chose Central Coast

We immediately fell in love with the bright, cheery feeling of the home, the character that comes from an early 1920's structure, the lovely and sunny (and for PG, unique) street to street lot, yard and garden, and the location central to everything. We also loved the idea of the detached guest room allowing privacy for our parents and friends who may be staying with us.

What makes this house unique

The house, while roomy and comfortable, is also a classic Pacific Grove cottage. It takes us back to days when Pacific Grove was noted as a summer colony for travelers from all over the west coast. We love its central location allowing us to walk to all of the sites, especially the Monarch Butterfly Grove, Lovers Point Beach, the Monterey Bay Aquarium and to the downtown shops and restaurants. The yard offers lots of enjoyable outdoor living space, especially for those fall and early winter months when the weather is outstanding.

We believe we offer a great value, providing charming accommodations at a very competitive price.

Cute house, great location

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect vacation house for me and my husband and our 4 year old son. The house was very cozy and well decorated, and the landscaping was beautiful. The cleaning service was running late for our arrival, and Ken was very communicative and let us stay in the extra guest room while the house was being cleaned. I would love to stay in this house again if we're lucky enough to visit the area.

Cute cottage close to Monterrey Bay

  • 4 of 5

This cottage is comfortable but is quite small. The location is near to all Monterrey Peninsula sites and is located on a quiet street. It is a good value. If you are looking for an updated interior this is not the place. It has the same character as when it was built about 100 years ago.

Owner's Response: Rodney, Thanks so much for your review and for noting the comfort and great location of the house. As we state in our ad, this is a family-oriented beach cottage with the majority of our guests being return customers, which we love. While the character of 1920's house has been maintained we are also proud that we have made it comfortable and very welcoming. Thanks for recognizing the good value. Ken

Charming Place

  • 5 of 5

We instantly fell in love with our little yellow cottage with the spacious back yard and patio. It was perfect for the three of us, my husband and me in one room, my elderly mother in the other, with a shared bathroom between. A short 1/2 mile from town or, going the other way, to Asilomar Beach -- we walked down daily and just roamed the shops and cafes and beaches. (The house is also on a bus route.) My husband found a great bike ride, and I got fresh shrimp on the pier almost daily -- so all were happy. Ken, the owner, was helpful and responsive; the kitchen and linen closets were well supplied and the beds were comfy. The place was clean and easy to take care of -- really enjoyed the way it was decorated, kind of funky and fun - beachy, very cheerful and comfortable. We had a great time at this cute cottage, and recommend it highly. (One word of caution, there is a high step at the front of the house and no sidewalk until the next block. This was fine for us, just meant my mom couldn't go out on her own -- but she is usually with one of us anyway.)

Homey and Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

My partner and I recently attended an annual conference at Asilomar Conference Center and tacked on a few extra days in Pacific Grove. The house was a delightful walk to the conference center and beach. we loved having our own kitchen to prepare our meals and really enjoyed the small town atmosphere of PG. It was a cozy and very comfy house and we enjoyed our stay so much!

A Perfect Stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. It was comfortable and in a perfect location for visiting many sites in the area. The cottage is bright, cheery and welcoming. The well kept garden was perfect for enjoying some beautiful fall days. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. As a retired couple who make annual visits, we hope to return to this wonderful house next year.

The cottage was a perfect get a way

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had the privilege of staying at the cottage in Pacific Grove for 10 days in August and it was so clean, quiet, comfortable and relaxing.

The owner was very helpful and nice and was available for any questions we might have.

the house was well appointed and was stocked with the necessities.

The kitchen was stocked with dish ware, cooking supplies, and basic seasonings and condiments.

Our son, daughter-in-law and 3 year old grandson stayed with us for 3 nights in the detached bedroom and bathroom and that made our stay even better.

There is a lovely backyard with 2 seating areas and we enjoyed spending time there.

The cottage is near the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Lovers Point and Asilomar.

We enjoyed dining at some very nice restaurants nearby.

We hope to stay there again next year and would highly recommend it to family and friends.
