Wonderful Vacation

  • 5 of 5

The house was a great rental! We were a short drive from Beaches & resturants. We spent most of our time in the pool. The house was just the right size for our family of 4! There was a Canoe & a Kayak available too! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The grocery store was a short drive away. This was one of our Best Vacations. Anthony was quick to reply to any questions we had!

Nice view little comfort

  • 2 of 5

The place is ideal for rest. The house is very nice but lacked some comfort to vacation a family of 6 to 8 people. Beds are too small to sleep 2 people. The dining table is only for 4 people being that we were a family of 6 and also missing chairs. We had a problem with the floor of the room that was swollen from a leak of water which had to walk very carefully and the door of not closed, this generated during the stay maintenance staff came repeatedly to relieve the work.

Owner's Response: Since this is my first negative review in roughly 4 years, I feel compelled to respond. If you read the house description, it tells you exactly how many beds and what size beds they are. The pictures and description are exactly what you get when you walk in the house. There is 1 Queen in the master, 1 full in bedroom # 2 and a trundle (pirate bed) with 2 single beds in bedroom #3. There is also a full size futon in bedroom #3. When you try to squeeze a family of 8 into a house that comfortably sleeps 4-6, of course you are going to be limited on space. The dining table inside seats 4, exactly as pictured in the listing. So does the table outside, but I'm getting a new one this week that sits 6. Yes - we had an unfortunate situation where the AC leaked into to the wood floor and the wood buckled. I offered the family another one of my vacation rental houses to stay at or a full refund with a hotel stay. The declined and wanted to stay at the house. it wasn't very bad, but something that I had to address. To give me 2 stars in completely unwarranted, and I want those who are interested in the house to know that.

Fun family get together

  • 4 of 5

Nice clean property at a reasonable price. We had all we needed. Nice common living space and comfortable rooms. Not far from i95 but nevertheless in a peaceful neighborhood. Nice pool. Although it is not heated, we still enjoyed some time in the water. The air conditioning system had electronic control issues , but owner addressed promptly. Would recommend it to a friend.

Relaxing Stay!

  • 4 of 5

My family and I spent 5 nights at this lovely home. The bedrooms were a good size for us. My kids just loved the sailors bedroom. The bedding was good although there were stains on a few pillows. The main room was great. Lots of room and the entertainment system was perfect.

The place lacked a few supplies. There were no bath towels or bath mat for the ensuite but Anthony was great to deal with and brought us some as soon as he could. The kitchen was nice although seating at the table was only for 4 and there was 6 of us. There was not a full set of dishes and cups, no wine glasses so that was a bit disappointing.

The pool was clean but it was not heated. Even though it got the early afternoon sun it still was not warm. The kids did manage to go in it quite a bit but the adults would have preferred it to be warmer. We used the canoe frequently going up and down the canals counting all the iguanas. We did use the BBQ but it ran out of propane after the one time.

There was a washer and dryer for our use but it was located in a very cluttered storage room.

It was a nice stay but would recommend the supplies and equipment are checked frequently to ensure others have a full stock before they begin their vacation stay.

Great location, nice pool and canal access

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here for 5 nights before a cruise. Anthony was great to deal with from start to finish. Late checkout was great for our family. The property is very nice. The pool was clean and refreshing. It wasn't heated, so our kids didn't want to swim until afternoon, which was a bit disappointing, but we managed fine! Bedding and beds were good. The kitchen was stocked with many items, but we found some of the dishware to be heavy and would have preferred some plastic cups, especially for around the pool. The kitchen didn't really have a full set of dishes, it just seemed to be a random variety of plates, bowls and cups. We were constantly running out of cups for our group of 8. It was nice to have a washer/dryer, but the laundry room was full of clutter and not clean at all. The property was fairly well kept. Life jackets for the canoe and kayak were provided. Our children loved canoeing and kayaking in the canal right behind the house. Pool toys were minimal and very worn.

All in all, it was a good place to stay and we would go back. It would just be nice to see the laundry area tidied up, and a good set of dishes in the kitchen.

Fantastic rental

  • 5 of 5

I highly recommend this rental. The house and yard have been updated beautifully, the property is clean and well maintained, and the space was fun and functional for our party of two adult sisters and four children (ranging from elementary to high school age). Its location in a residential neighborhood made it a quiet retreat and convenient to stores and restaurants. It was a very easy 10-15 minute drive to the airport and to the fabulous beaches. Anthony made the rental process very easy and was a pleasure to work with.
