About Anne Hazeltine
I fell in love with New Orleans the first time I was there and bought my first vacation place on my second visit. This property was found in May 2012 (Jazz Fest trip!) and it is so charming and lovely, I was sure others would enjoy it, too.
Anne Hazeltine purchased this House in 2012
Why Anne Hazeltine chose Faubourg Marigny
If you love the live music scene on Frenchmen, then this is the place for you! It is also just 4 blocks from the Riverfront streetcar and the French Quarter.
What makes this House unique
This property has the classic courtyard everyone loves in New Orleans. And the covered porch with ceiling fans makes it the perfect place to start and end your day in New Orleans.

Exactly as pictured. Kitchen, yard and furnishings were all very nice.
Perfect location and the parking space is an added bonus.
Comfy, cozy, well-stocked and close to everything!!!
On our first visit to NOLA, we could not believe how close to the music on Frenchman St we were! This was the perfect spot. Do take the Night on the Town music tour and you'll be given an itinerary that meets your needs and won't be disappointed. Do take a plantation tour, only 25 minutes away, Destrehan, a cemetery tour & the Steam Boat Natchez; plan to walk around the French Market, week-ends are busier and more bustling, which is more fun! Try all the samples of Praline. Visit the Spotted Cat, just a very short walk away, Maison's always has great music. And Robert's Market is .2 miles and has everything you might need in way of groceries. We really loved the Gumbo Shop for an early dinner after the Steam Boat.
This was the best ever get-away and we thank Anne & Ginger for making it so comfy, cozy and easy in so many ways. Do NOT hesitate to stay here. The bed was comfy, as were the chairs and couch. Loved having breakfast on the back-porch which is the pictured. This place was the BEST!! The neighbors are terrific, as well.
Ginger was only a phone call away, "thank you, Ginger". And Anne has decorated and furnished the home impeccably, "thank you, Anne". Many thanks, again.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review! We love to hear what about our guests' experiences in New Orleans!
Great location, beautiful home
The property looked fantastic in the pictures and was more impressive in person. Fully furnished with everything to make the stay easy and comfortable. Good communication with the owner and manager.
Great place, but for the street noise
This is a very nice and well appointed little house, with lots of thoughtful and personal touches.
Easy walking distance to the French Quarter, good restaurants, a full service market and pharmacy.
The only drawback is the front placed bedroom, just steps from very busy Frenchman Street, where vehicles playing loud music and the exuberant sounds of passers by continue until 2-3 am. I bought silicone earplugs after the first few nights, and they helped immensely.
We loved the Hideout
This is a beautiful place for a couple, in a fabulous location. We were able to walk every place we wanted to go, or ride the cable car/trolly. Plenty of great restaurants and entertainment just up the street, and Bourbon St fun and French Market are each a short 15 min walk. I highly recommend the Hideout!
Just far enough from Bourbon to relax and close enough to hop in the Fat Tuesday Parade and walk!
It was very comfortable and relaxing. Great patio area and modern appliances. Claw foot tube and fixtures give the big easy feel. I highly recommend paying for the gated parking!
Located On Frenchmen Street! Just a block from the renowned music scene in the Marigny in New Orleans just a few blocks from the French Quarter. The covered back porch always ends up being a favorite of our guests - they end up spending every morning out there. The kitchen has everything you need to make a meal and there is a gas grill ready to grill up your favorites.
