We currently own and operate a B&B, as well as The Farmhouse, in picturesque Paonia, CO.
Sharon Morley purchased this farmhouse in 2010
The unique character of the home jumped out at us. We knew it would require intensive restoration and renovation efforts, but it turned out to be worth it.
Amazing rustic farmhouse feel, but still completely comfortable.
very comfortable place to stay. good wifi and our at&t phones worked fine here.
Everything is beautifully renovated. The kitchen/bathroom are very nice, beds are very comfortable and there are TWO porches (one upstairs and one downstairs). These were perfect for having our friends over and relaxing in the nice Paonia summer weather. Sharon was also a great host. Highly recommend!
Pictures don't do the place justice. It felt like I was in a little home from Pintrest, and Sharon is soo kind and professional!!
This place was perfect for us. The photos really do not do it justice. I walked in and was really blown away by how cute and perfectly decorated the house was. (Could the decorater come to Oregon and help me?) We met for a mini family reunion and wanted a place in town for folks to gather if needed. And because it rained several days (in July) it was needed. The house is less than a block to the grocery store, a block off Main Street and close to the park. (All the places we needed access to.) At one point we BBQ'd hotdogs and burgers for about 30 people. The bedding and towels were plush and we felt very spoiled. I will definitely stay there again and next time bring my canning gear because there is nothing like Colorado apricots, cherries, and peaches.
The house sleeps 7 very comfortably with a full bath down and 2/3 bath upstairs. All 7 of us never felt cramped even with only 1 shower. I can't say enough how well this cozy farmhouse fit us.
The only draw back was our cell service but that is not the fault of the house. It would have been helpful in our situation to have a land line in the house but I'm sure if I had said anything to Scott or Sharon we could have used their phone to call and coordinate with other family members that were staying elsewhere in Paonia.
Thank you again for a great stay. Shelley
We loved our stay in Paonia! We had a large group of women and Sharon was able to accommodate all of our needs with different arrival times. The house was so charming and the rooms and bathrooms were well appointed and very comfortable. It was great to be able to walk everywhere we needed to be. Lots of thoughtful touches like homemade cookies. I highly recommend this property.
Attentive and friendly owners, quiet neighbors, gorgeous garden with outdoor sitting area, chocolate chip cookies, cozy rooms, movie library, and a claw foot tub. This lovely home is well-stocked, comfortable, and convenient to downtown Paonia. The town park, Revolution Brewery, quality restaurants (Living Farm Cafe and Flying Fork are the best), and shops are all close by (check out the turquoise store on Grand Ave.). We are happy we chose to stay here ... will be back!
