Avondale is 30 minutes west of downtown Phoenix and the Skyharbour International Airport. It is a central location for tourist attractions allowing you to get around easily with no wasted vacation time. For the avid golfer, there are several golf courses nearby, including the Palm Valley Golf Course, Wigwam Hotel and golf course and Coldwater Springs just 3.9 miles (11 minutes) away. The property is 15 minutes from the Phoenix International Raceway where they have NASCAR races twice per year (March & Nov). The Cardinals football team and Coyotes hockey team play in Glendale which is a quick 15 minute drive. If baseball is your thing then what would be better than watching the major league players train. There are two baseball training facilities nearby where you can pay only $10-20 to watch them train. Watch different teams at many sites during training season, March and April. There is also a Wildlife World Zoo about half an hour away which is great for the family.

As well as Estrella Falls, Westgate, Desert Sky Mall and Arrowhead on west Bell Road 20 minutes away on the 101 freeway. And if that wasn’t exciting enough… a new 328,000 square-foot outlet mall, featuring 85 brand name outlet stores is now open in Glendale. Tanger Factory Outlet Centers Inc., features upscale open-air shopping, located near the Loop 101 and Glendale Avenue, walking distance to Westgate City Center, Gila River Arena, and the University of Phoenix Stadium. Sports lovers can go to a game and others can shop…..win…win!
Why our location: Our house is a perfect setup for a family vacation or a few friends heading down for some R&R. The house has 4 bedrooms, so large enough for everyone to have their own space and can comfortably sleep 8 if 2 families want to vacation together. The house has huge vaulted ceilings giving an open spacious feel with the kitchen at the back looking out to the pool so you can be making lunch while the kids are enjoying a swim. The community is quiet, lots of beautiful palm trees (which you don’t get in all areas), park just around the corner with small rock wall, BBQ area and large open grass area for a great afternoon game. There is a Fry’s grocery store within walking distance which is handy if you just need to run and grab a few things and you don’t have access to a vehicle. The backyard is fully fenced with concrete walls so you have privacy and don’t have the issue of having to be super quiet if your rental property backs onto a golf course.
