Close to the ocean, far enough away from the ferry landing for peace and quiet, the first floor of this roomy 1916 cottage has a living room, sunroom with wrought-iron table and 6 chairs, and a 47-inch flat-screen TV with stereo sound, Blu-Ray and VHS player. Adjacent is the dining room seating 6 people, kitchen and pantry area. Down the short hallway is the first-floor bathroom with shower. This entire area has been re-tiled this year.
THE COBBLESTONE DRIVEWAY ADJACENT TO THE PROPERTY BELONGS TO MY NEIGHBOR AND IS NOT TO BE USED FOR ANY REASON UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. NO BICYCLES, NO GOLF CARTS, NO VEHICLES. PARKING IS LIMITED TO THE FRONT YARD. The trees have been pruned back and there is room for a full-size SUV, wheels off the road, please, and a golf cart between the trees.
Upstairs is the master bedroom with queen-sized bed and TV, a second bedroom with 2 twin beds and a queen-sized futon usable as seating, sleeping, or a fun place for a board game. Sheets are provided. There are 2 twin-sized air mattresses with pump for extra company. The third bedroom has twin-sized trundle beds, a 13" TV with VHS player, remote, and some Disney VCR movies. The upstairs bathroom is complete with clawfoot tub.
Two portable air conditioners, one upstairs and one down, will keep everyone cool on those hot and humid (though rare) summer days and nights. In the cellar off the kitchen are a full-sized washer and dryer. The back yard has a Weber Spirit grill along with 4 Adirondack chairs and 2 tables.
