About Rusty Clark

I am a native of the community of Roscoe, MT, just 20 miles from Red Lodge. I always wanted to plant my feet back in this astonishing mountain town and so I returned home to my roots. After buying this home, I fell in love with the people of Red Lodge. You can be anyone or anything you want here and people will love and embrace you. You can be in town one evening, and already you will have friends here. Come visit Red Lodge and see why even at 30, I couldn't say no to this often undiscovered gem of a town. But don't tell too many people, just come enjoy it for yourself!

Rusty Clark purchased this house in 2009

Why Rusty Clark chose Yellowstone Country

This home is 5 minutes from all of the great pubs, restaurants, boutiques, groceries, movie theater, museums, and charm that is uniquely Red Lodge. If you are looking to get away from it all for a few days or longer, you can blend in and become a local in no time from this locale!

What makes this house unique

This home has arched plaster ceilings and charming 1901 attributes.

The walk in shower, jetted jacuzzi tub, and the old-fashioned sauna in the back yard are welcomed sights after a long day on the ski slopes!

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

Our fourth stay in this house and it never disappoints. The house is wonderful and within walking distance to town. As always, we enjoyed our stay and will come back again. Till next year....

Super cute.

  • 5 of 5

Super cute with just the right amount of modern. The backyard is a nice place to retreat after a hard day of playing with a deck and fire pit. We were able to cook meals and spend time with all of family relaxing. The bathroom has a bath, as well as a full shower with two heads, there was plenty of hot hot water.

The house is two blocks from downtown so we would walk downtown to enjoy all that Red Lodge has to offer. Wild turkeys and deer roamed around in the front yard every day. I would highly recommend this house.

Quiet Hideaway Within a Stone's Throw of Everything

  • 5 of 5

Great location in Red Lodge on a quiet back street but within a few minutes walk to main street with its restaurants and shops. The place is extremely private, with a delightful back yard and patio area with gas grill. The house is very clean and well appointed. Great shower. Bathroom stocked with plenty of towels, soaps, lotions, spare tooth brushes, and anything you might have forgotten. Kitchen has all necessary amenities. Check out the wine, cheese, and gourmet goodies from Babcock and Miles just a few blocks away. Rusty, the owner, is very responsive and terrific to work with. We had no problems with the house. Red Lodge is a perfect base for exploring all that the Beartooth Mountains have to offer and is a great destination in and of itself.

Exactly as described: Haggin Hideaway

  • 4 of 5

We were hoping to spend alot of time at the house, cooking, relaxing by reading, puzzling, enjoying downtime with friends and family. This property was perfect for it. Well stocked kitchen, roomy, comfortable and quiet bedrooms. Great location for walking around. Definitely recommend. Instructions for the devices would have been nice, as we never really did get the hang of the TV remotes. Using the sauna without instructions was also too intimidating to try. Thanks for sharing your home!

Best place to stay in Red Lodge

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying at this house and I can't say enough about how wonderful the place truly is. First off, we spent Christmas in Red Lodge and the house was beautifully decorated for the occasion. The Christmas tree and the outdoor lights were a plus especially with an 8/yr old kid. The house is within walking distance to the center of town for shopping, dining, and grocery store. We loved staying at the house and will most definitely book it again for our next Red Lodge trip.

Perfect accommodations in perfect town

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed in Red Lodge as our base to hike Granite Peak and to visit Yellowstone. This house was absolutely a home away from home. We walked to Main St each day multiple times to eat or shop. We enjoyed the deer in the road at 6am. The house had more than the needed amenities. It had shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry supplies, and cleaning aids for the week. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed watching the olympics in the very comfortable living room. I loved the way it was decorated. It was warm, cozy, and homey. It had lots of pillows, blankets, and pillows. If you are staying in Red Lodge you can't go wrong with this house.
