Victorian Farm House
This is an old farmhouse, built in 1903, from rough sawed yellow pine harvested right here in the Ozark Hills. The town of Eminence has built up around the Maple Tree Inn and highways 19 and 106 that junction right out front have taken land that once was the yard. Located in the center of everything within walking distance to dining, shopping or evening entertainment. Just 200 yards from the Jacks Fork River. This house has five bedrooms, one is downstairs, each with its own restroom. The Bunkhouse Room is set up with bunk beds, ideal for the kids. A large kitchen, dining room, large living room and utility room next to the kitchen with a washer and dryer available. Each room has restroom with a shower, another restroom with a shower is located with an outside entrance from the deck and pool. The decks surround the house and pool. This is a fine location to base your Eminence Vacation, whether you are floating the Current or Jacks Fork Rivers, exploring the Lower Ozarks, viewing Missouri's wild elk, seeking a glimpse of Missouri's wild horses or visiting the trail rides, this is the place for you.
The house was built during the timber boom in Eminence and has served as a doctors residence, funeral home, boarding house and for a short time a restaurant. Many stories are told in this area about happenings in and around the Old Inn. We have found it to be a very pleasant place to be and located in the center of everything Eminence has to offer.
Two canoe liveries commonly pick up right here at the front door. All they need is a pickup time and how many canoes to provide. All you need is a cooler with beverages, swim suit, sun screen and some free time. Evenings are usually spent grilling on the back porch and hanging out around the pool.
***The fall is a lovely time to reserve the Inn. There are several trail rides, haunting in the hills and a large craft festival in October. The Inn would be ideal for hunters as well.
Please contact us for special offers for the fall and into winter.
We also offer special discounts to church sponsored groups led by official, church staff: youth, staff retreats, women's or men's retreats.

Why Clint Dalbom chose Eminence
You cant drive through Eminence without driving past the Maple Tree Inn. With the large Elk Statue in the front yard, a sidewalk that leads along highway 19 to the Jacks Fork River and walking distance to downtown, this place is in the center of everything here.
What makes this House unique
This is a very beautiful part of the world. There are plants, animals and natural features that exist nowhere else in the world. The Lower Ozarks area is fortunate to have vast expanses of public land. Wildlife abounds here, and places to hunt and fish seem almost endless. The National Geographic has done features on this area and The Nature Conservancy has declared it as "One of the Last Great Places". Throw in several bands of Missouri Wild Horses, the range of Missouri's only herd of wild free ranging elk, an occasional bear or mountain lion, and two or three pristine Ozark Rivers, we just about have something for everyone!

Great place for Thanksgiving!
The Inn was perfect for our group of 11. The house was nice and clean. The kitchen was great for cooking, we especially loved the big island as we had plenty of room while we made all the different dishes for Thanksgiving. The living room is very nice with a large TV and the dining room was perfect. We used individual tables for playing games, but were able to put them all together for Thanksgiving dinner. The bedrooms were also large and having your own bathroom was wonderful. We had a great dinner at a nearby Mexican restaurant and we enjoyed walking to the grocery store and the Ozark Mountain Emporium. Everyone in town was very friendly. Only one comment, the pictures show two stove/ovens, but there is only one. The stove does have 5 burners! This didn't affect our trip and we had no problem making our Thanksgiving dinner with one stove. Clint was also very responsive to all our questions. It really is a neat inn with lots of porches, a pretty staircase, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, a great washer and dryer and lots of character!! A very fun place to spend a holiday!
Great place to stay
This is a wonderful house to stay in while enjoying all the beauty of southern Missouri. It's location is great - central to a lot of crystal clear rivers which we kayaked on for several days. We also got to see the nearby ELK and hiked to many of the springs. The house itself is roomy, clean, easy to use and has a great kitchen. Eating out back on the deck by the pool was the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this place to stay.
PERFECT Float Trip Weekend!
This house worked absolutely perfectly for our annual float trip! We had about 19 or so guests -- and room for everyone. The house was large enough and the bedrooms were situated in a way that they were fairly quiet and people wouldn't be disturbed when sleeping by anyone still awake. There were plenty of bathrooms as well as things such as towels and toiletries. The pool was a bit chilly at first but quite refreshing in the hot summer sun! Kitchen big enough for everyone!!! We will definitely be booking again next year!!
This is a wonderful house to rent for a long weekend. The place is spacious and very clean. It is in a great location. The pool has been maintained and the kitchen is perfect for cooking for a larger group. There is wifi, which I appreciated. The housekeeper left us cookies, which is very nice. I will definitely be recommending to friends and family who come to Eminence for float trips. Be warned however there is a neighbor issue. We got screamed at by kids and adults for 3 days straight who clearly did not want us there. We couldn't even load up our cars for the float trip without children screaming expletives at us. Luckily, we have thick skin and this did not ruin our time here at all and we will be back.
excellent family accomodations!
5 bedrooms with an en suite bathroom for each made for plenty of privacy for the 5 families staying together. Plus, there's a 6th bathroom accessible from the pool/deck area. The huge kitchen was great for preparing meals for everyone and the ice machine was the best thing in the kitchen! The covered decks/porch areas came in very handy as it rained all of 1 evening and the whole next day! We found no citronella candles/outdoor lighting other than spotlights but we made do. The pool/deck area had chairs and tables so we didn't need all the chairs we had brought. The float outfitter picked us up at the front door and brought us back which was wonderful. Everyone had an excellent time. We plan to come back.
Hiatt getaway weekend.
Enjoyed the house. Clean, comfortable large enough for our party. Had a little glich with the TV service but Clint got it staightened out. We would go back again. Everyone had a great time.
