Clean, quiet, great location
The property was just as listed; clean, comfortable, plenty of space for our family, great yard for the kids to run. Great location right down the road from Red Hook and just a quick trip to Rhinebeck. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for a great experience.
Comfortable family getaway
My family was traveling to the Kingston area for a wedding and we wanted to find a roomy comfortable place large enough for our group but also be a gathering point for all. We found it in this lovely home. 4 bedrooms and a full basement with even more beds. The kitchen was well equipped and the property was green and peaceful. It is close to Kingston and Woodstock but still out in the woods for great hiking. My family raved about this house and if our travels find us in this area again we would surely stay here.
Thank you so much for the awesome review! We are so happy that you and your family enjoyed your special time together and that our home was your ideal gathering place. If your travels brings you back to the Mid-Hudson Valley we look forward to hosting you again!

The property is great for a group getaway. It has lots of amenities. The property is well maintained. The grounds are manicured and lush. The house was comfortable, and the bedrooms were lovely. The beds were very comfortable. The house has a lot to offer. Unfortunately, the hot tub didn't work, but the owners were quick to respond to that. The location was good, and the town of Red Hook is sweet. The area has so much to offer, with a lot of special touches. I would definitely recommend this house, it really is charming. Our annual Girls Weekend was a complete success and our accommodations were perfect!!
Thank you Lynda and Jim.
Comfortable house for a group
My group of knitter friends stayed at Shepherd’s Knoll while we attended NY Sheep & Wool. The house is comfortable and well-equipped. Jim was there to welcome my friends who arrived in the late afternoon and deliver fresh chocolate chip cookies. We all agreed we would happily stay there again on future trips to the Rhinebeck area.
Thank you for your review! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay and the Sheep & Wool festival and look forward to having you stay with us again as you are a terrific group!
