5 bedroom, 4.5 bath Full Log Home with Stunning Mountain Views
About Jill Cox
My husband and I live in Dallas, TX with our three kids, Chanley, Cameron and Christopher. Triple C Lodge was named after our children. I grew up skiing and coming to Colorado in the winter. When a family wedding brought us here in the summer of 2006, we realized it was even more beautiful here in the Summer. So we started coming to Colorado each summer when our kids were young to escape the Texas heat and spend time enjoying the beautiful mountains and all they have to offer.
Jill Cox purchased this House in 2012
Why Jill Cox chose Breckenridge
We have vacationed in Breckenridge for several years both in the winter and summer. We found this jewel of a mountain home and knew when we first walked in it had the space, views, location and everything we were looking for. We are excited to get to spend time in the summer and a couple weeks in the winter with our family making lasting memories here. And we hope many other families will be able to enjoy its beauty as well.
What makes this House unique
I have yet to find a vacation home this spacious and spread out that can accomodate multiple families for an affordable price. The open layout on three levels adds to the functional use that several families can enjoy.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
I came to the Triple C Lodge with 15 of my closest friends for my 30th Birthday and we had the best time ever. Not only was the property spacious enough for all of us to sleep comfortably in, but the pictures did not do justice to the size of the lodge. It was huge! Pool table and hot tub were in excellent condition and the kitchen comes fully stocked with anything might need to cook up a feast(minus the actual food). Breckenridge is a short 15 minute drive away and is the most gorgeous town I have ever seen. Check out the Distillery and try their spiced whiskey.
The views at the lodge are spectacular and it's very clear this property is taken extremely good care of. We had such a good time that we are already talking "annual repeat trip". The owners are great at communication and are very flexible and informative with any questions one might have.
I am from Chicago and the lodge alone made my drive worth it. Can't wait to come back and stay at this dream come true again. Thanks for everything once again
Lots of room in a great location
June 2019 A wonderful place to stay in the Breckenridge area, Plenty of room for the 15 of us (4 families) 8 min drive to Main Street in Breck, on which we saw Moose and beaver multiple times. Beds are comfy, plenty of linens.
But there are some issues with this, the back doors were a nightmare getting to stay closed and secure, we had constant alarms. This house needs to be DEEP CLEANED ad all the broken stuff laying around removed and issues fixed. More than a few burned out bulbs. I could write my name in dust in a few places. The grill is a greasy mess and the whole house shows signs of neglect of maintenance..
BUT, in spite of that, I would stay here again, it's such a nice space, just sad to see the multiple maintenance issues to make it a truly great space
We visited Breckenridge on a family vacation to celebrate a 60th birthday. We had 9 guests total: 7 adults and 2 children. The home met our price, size, and location needs, and the hot tub was a nice plus. The deck and view were great. The house also included a grill, pack-n-plays, and child safety gates which were all nice to have.
However, the house could use some attention to detail and TLC. When we first arrived, there was trash scattered around the yard (nearly a whole trash bag full) and there were three full trash cans plus 6 extra full trash bags left in the garage that had not been taken out. The house has no curtains or blinds, so the afternoon/ evening sun made the main rooms quite unpleasant. My father-in-law’s sheets had not been washed. The next morning we discovered only 1 out of 3 coffee maker’s worked, after a bit of trial and error. The pillows could use a replacement/ upgrade. While the hottub was nice, half of the jets didn’t work properly and the water was 40 days overdue for a change. And generally, the house could use a deep clean.
Overall, we had a nice trip, but we just wish the owners or management company had taken a few extra steps to make the house more enjoyable.
I’m glad you enjoyed your vacation at Triple C Lodge. And yes, the views and hot tub are amazing! The hot tub is brand new, only a few months old. So perhaps you didn’t understand how to turn the jets on and off. I would have been happy to help answer any questions. Regarding the trash, the trash service comes every Monday. So you happened to catch it at the end of the week when it was full from previous guests. And we would never put blinds in the house and hinder the gorgeous views! I apologize if it was too sunny. But there are other living spaces you can use when the sun comes in the main room. All sheets are washed after each stay. If there was a problem, I would have been glad to tell you where the extra sheets were, or send the cleaners over. But I never received a call.
We try our best to provide nice accommodations at a very reasonable price (less than $500/night). A lot of homes similar size are $1,000+/ night. But like most mountain rental homes, the house does get natural wear and tear. Thank you for your feedback and I hope you had a memorable vacation.
Spacious with beautiful views.
CCC Lodge was spacious and easily accommodated our group of 12. We had a great time skiing and snow shoeing. The hot tub was amazing after playing all day in the epic snow. We cooked all meals in the large kitchen. Although we were very pleased with most things about the house, there are quite a few maintenance items that need tending to and it could use a good deep cleaning. There were no sheets for the day beds and not enough towels and linens in general. The furnishings and decor are a bit tired looking but didn’t keep us from enjoying our stay.
This home met all of our expectations as far as space and rooms/bathrooms go. This home is huge and had plenty of space for multiple families. The views are absolutely beautiful. For the most part, accommodations were as expected. The hot tub was broken which was unfortunate and out of the owners hands obviously. Limited amount of paper goods (toilet paper, papertowels) and the only reason there were enough bath towels was because we used hot tub towels. I would definitely stay here again!
Very nice, very spacious!!
We had a group of 12, and all really enjoyed it... for a lot of us it was our first time to Colorado so we were pretty star struck from the views, snow and so forth... We definitely look forward to visiting this area this home again. The only bad thing I have to say is that the hot tub wasn’t working, the owner was aware, and was trying to get it fixed for us... Overall a great experience and a great house!!
CCC Lodge is within a mile of some of the best hiking Breckenridge has to offer. During the winter, the ski lifts are only 7 minutes away. Breckenridge has so many things to do, depending on the season. Winter has skiing, sledding, skating, snowshoeing. Summer has golfing, fishing, hiking, biking, horsebackriding. Both seasons have shopping, town events, and gorgeous mountain views.
