Great country pub about 7 miles from Dorchester
5/5Stayed Jun 2017
Expected to be in Dorchester but finished up miles from anywhere in a lovely country pub. Really pleased.

We wanted to stay in or around Dorchester for easy access to coast the following day. We were initially surprised how rural the location was, and the sat nav was essential, but this did not detract from a really nice stay at this pub/inn. The room was across the courtyard in what we would describe as a converted stable block and was cosy and clean with everything one needed. The pub served very good food and drink and we were lucky enough to have entertainment that evening with a guitarist who was superb. Weather was pants but that wasn't their fault and one would be hard pressed to find a more idyllic little country village location such as this. Very enjoyable
