Too hot in summer!

  • 3 of 5

There was no air-conditioning, and the windows would not open - rooms were like ovens unfortunately due to the extreme heat.

Basic stay w/ great food

  • 4 of 5

The room is intended for people who just need a place to lay their gear and their head for the night. It is very basic accommodations which was perfect for what I was looking for on this trip. Only downside was the lack of ac and the room was hot for most of the night. Aside from that, I would go back. Also, the food is REALLY good. All the staff is very friendly too.

You get what you pay for

  • 2 of 5

Rustic is an understatement with this one. No air conditioning- in Arizona- in the summer. Window Blinds were falling apart, bathtub was weirdly high and hard to get into. We only paid $79 a night, so I guess you get what you pay for. The staff was very friendly though and the food in the restaurant was decent.

Great place to stay.

  • 4 of 5

A little out of the way,(17 miles from I-40) but worth the diversion. Located among the evergreens, nice on site restaurant, cool in the summer (no air conditioning needed). The rooms are a little old but add to the charm. The staff was extremely friendly. Nice area to go hiking or walking before dinner. My wife loved it. We would definitely stay there again.

Way overpriced rustic charm

  • 3 of 5

Cute spot and cozy room. Way overpriced--wish we'd picked someplace much less expensive since this cabin wasn't worth the hefty price tag. Outdated amenities including TV, tub/shower, and electrical outlets (couldn't get charger plugs to stay in them!)

Chad and staff extremely friendly.

Disappointing breakfast.

I want to love this place because of the staff and rustic atmosphere and sweet cats, but I absolutely can't justify almost $200 for the night. It should've been half the price.

Best location for Snowbowl. Very nice staff. Restaurant recommended for dinner. Rooms are basic and heater is noisy w an odor. Good value.
