This is a perfect getaway destination for visitors to the Valley of the Sun, and for professionals looking for a high quality living with no expense spared and all the creature comforts you want.
Owners live in the community, are highly responsible, and very responsive to the needs of their guests.
Larry is a Realtor and Ginnie is an interior designer.
We chose to live in the community because of the quality of life in the area, and because Tempe is literally the center of the Valley, so it's easy to get anywhere. The urban lifestyle of Tempe is second to none in the Valley.
Larry Garza purchased this townhome in 2005
This is a very special property, a mature neighborhood with large trees and grass areas. A darling private courtyard for entertaining and BBQ. Biking to downtown Tempe Mill Ave and ASU, community pool. Light Rail connects the Tempe urban area to to downtown Phoenix urban area. It's close to spring training locations, and Scottsdale is just up the road.
Caring, attentive owners, Huge lighted Private Courtyard, interior Atrium (rare feature), very private residence, walking distance to public transportation.
The overall property is very spacious and nice. I just think the property could be maintained a little better. A lot of the plates, silverware and crockpot were dirty. There was one bedroom where the closet door didn't close and the drawers in the chest of drawers did not pull out and when they did, we couldn't get them closed. Some of the expiration dates on some of the spices were very old. There was no kitchen sink plug to hold the water to wash dishes so we used a red solo cup--it worked well. We enjoyed sitting outside, however, we had to wipe the table multiple times to get the layer of dirt off it. If you are able to overlook some of the dirtiness, the property is very nice and in a good neighborhood. Overall, we did enjoy our stay.
The welcoming basket was only the start of a wonderful week in Tempe, due in part to this lovely spot to call "home". This home is conveniently located to the airport and local spots of interest, has a comfortable living area, and well-stocked kitchen. We especially enjoyed the patio for breakfast and evening meals. In another time of year, the pool would have been a nice draw (a bit cool in November). We felt right at home and would definitely return if we're in the area again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short visit to this vacation rental, only wish we could have stayed for the winter! It was very much as the excellent pictures showed. Beautifully decorated, roomy for the 8 of us, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, conveniently located and in a quiet safe neighborhood.
My husband grew up in the neighborhood area, so it brought back many old memories of middle school and high school times.
The owners Larry and Ginnie were quick to answer all questions and the check in/out process was efficient and organized. We appreciated the extra nice touches like soft music playing and a gift basket to welcome us. We also appreciated the owners own photography of
wonderful Arizona places.
If the opportunity ever arises again for us to rent in Tempe with the large group, we would love to come back to this particular rental!
Thanks Larry and Ginnie for allowing us to share your home!!
We were so happy with our stay. We had three couples and each had their own room. The neighborhood is centrally located yet quiet providing a nice place for our morning walks with mature trees all over. The owner had a binder of local restaurants and services we found helpful. The courtyard was perfect for daily breakfast, happy hour and dinner. We especially liked the table for 8 and lighted canopy in the courtyard. The well outfitted kitchen was a treat to cook in. We also enjoyed the pool. We would be happy to recommend this rental to anyone. Like we said it was just right.
We arrived to music playing and a welcome basket with coffee, wine and treats with a note to make ourselves comfortable. We immediately felt right at home. We had booked for 2 months so a positive impression from the start was important. We appreciated the detail to every amenity especially in the kitchen. I am a neat freak so cleanliness is always a priority to me. Larry and Ginnie's home was super clean and well maintained. A notebook was provided in case we needed the property manager or a repairman. The backyard was perfect for entertaining & we enjoyed grapefruit from the tree in back. We have already booked this home for next year - I don't know of a better way to state our pleasure with this rental. Thanks Larry & Ginnie for a wonderful stay in your lovely home. Lynda
This was our second stay at this condo. Love the private courtyard and the convenient location. The bed in the master was huge and so comfortable. My in-laws joined us for a few days, and we blew up the air mattress provided and put it in the reading room, as suggested. It was top notch, although the reading room was very cold at night.
My husband was a little disappointed that the bicycles were in ill repair, so after contacting Larry for a tire pump that worked, he pumped up the tire and rode it to Tempe to rent a bicycle for a couple hours.
We grilled out in the private courtyard. Nice grill.
My husband and his family were very impressed with the place and loved the quality of the televisions.
We would stay here again.
