About Michelle Stubbs

I was born and raised in Tucson. I lived in NYC for many years and returned to Tucson in 1987. My family currently lives in the main house on the property where the guest house is located.

Michelle Stubbs purchased this studio in 2005

Why Michelle Stubbs chose Blenman-Elm

I have always loved this area of Tucson. I grew up in a house a few blocks away from this house. The property is like having your own private oasis right in the heart of Tucson. Privacy and close to everything - what more could you ask for?

What makes this studio unique

The main house and guesthouse are located in a truly historic, beautiful neighborhood. The main house was believed to have been built in the 1930s for the first manager of the Arizona Inn. I loved this house the second I walked in the front door. The guesthouse (approximately 700 square feet)was built in 1958. It's a terrific open layout with a sitting area with a fireplace, working/dining area, etc.

Immaculate, peaceful, classy studio in a beautiful historic Tucson neighborhood!

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic place! My husband wanted to move-in permanently, haha! Central location, easy access to all parts of Tucson. Wonderful, classic southwest neighborhood, great for walking. The studio itself is perfectly set up, including cable TV and Netflix. Super comfortable bed and great shower. My husband and I made coffee with the Keurig machine and oatmeal for breakfast most mornings, using the hot plate which was more than sufficient for us. The host, Michelle, was very helpful, available, efficient and kind. She was easily reachable by text or phone. We plan to return next time we visit Tucson. It was a beautiful stay. Highly recommended!

Great Property - Terrific Host

  • 5 of 5

This is a terrific little get away that is right in the middle of town; close to the University of Arizona and many eating establishments. The host was very accommodating in allowing me to see the place before the guest arrived as I had booked it for an incoming UA candidate. It was very clean and cozy and if it had been a little cooler out, the fireplace would have been a nice addition to the stay. The patio area was also very clean and a great place to enjoy a little Tucson sun while relaxing. It had a nice patio table that you could have enjoyed a meal outside. It was well equip with WiFi for any work or entertainment that you might want. I would highly recommend this guesthouse and would book again.

Beautiful guest house in great neighborhood and nice pool

  • 5 of 5

This is a converted artists studio and the guest house is lovely as are the grounds. It is nice to be able to use the pool. I didn't get a chance to use the kitchen as we were busy moving my child back into the dorms. Great for one person or a couple. Michelle is lovely and helpful.
