The unit we stayed it had a lot of things that needed repairs.

Let me start by saying we have stayed here several times. This is the first time that we really had a lot of problems. The unit that we stayed in and had a lot of issues. I called for maintenance on the first day to fix a Glass kitchen table that was about to fall apart. As our first day continued I realized that the refrigerator door was broke, parts of the freezer door were broken, the TV in the front bedroom did not work and the dishwasher did not work. The maintenance man were very nice and able to fix the table and the TV. They had a repair man coming out for the dishwasher supposedly that day. I got a call on Thursday five days into our stay, asking if it would be OK to let a repair man into our unit when we weren’t there to fix the dishwasher. I explained to the girl on the phone that that was unacceptable that we had to wait till our stay was almost over to have a dishwasher fixed. I had six people Staying in the unit. Needless to say I was doing dishes by hand all week not fun while you’re on vacation. We spent a lot of money to stay the week, wasn’t worth it this time.

There are too many different rental agencies renting out units at the Emerald Isle. It’s very confusing now when you call or go online to book a room at the Emerald Isle because you’re not really sure who your booking it through. For years we had booked it through the same agency that was right out in front of the building and this year we had to go find whoever it was we rented from because certain units are rented out by different agencies.

I urge renters to make sure you know who you’re renting it through because certain agencies charge a surcharge of over $200. I’m not sure we will stay there again

Great location. Units needs attention and upgrades

Emerald Isle is a great location on Pensacola Beach. We were here to visit family, so we weren’t in the unit much. We would have been very disappointed if we had rented it as home base for a beach vacation. The furniture is mismatched and older/worn. The sink disposal doesn’t work. A light socket behind a bed in the 2nd bedroom is loose, so doesn’t work 100%. The kitchen counter and floors could use a re-grout. The toaster and coffee maker could stand a refresh. It’s a number of little things added together that would take this unit from ok to really good. The owners should invest in a refresh.

Clean and great for our family! Condo was also quiet at night

We loved our stay! Nice being on the beach, and the pools were a nice break. Everyone was friendly, condo was clean and had everything we needed.

Would have been a nice stay if there was no fish smell in fridge & sofa bed broken.

Unfortunately , the refrigerator stunk like dead fish. Service staff cleaned it but couldn't get all of the smell out. The ice tasted like fish do couldn't have an iced drink during our stay. Our plans was to use the sleeper sofa and it wouldn't pull out. Staff service came and said it was broken and said "Sorry nothing we can do " and left an air mattress . A 65 yr old doesn't want to sleep on an air mattress . I didn't get what I paid for. I wonder if unit was even cleaned before we got there. Did they not smell the fish or check the sofa bed to see if it was clean?
