2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 6
ResortQuest by Wyndham
We enjoyed this property for a baseball trip. Condo is updated very well. Calm, beachy vibe. Love the wood-look tile floors. We did not cook so I don’t know what cookware is available. I saw a coffee pot and glass ware. The Palms has a great pool and is close to many restaurants. You will have to drive to the beach but there are a few public access points within a 2-10 minute drive. Henderson State Park is the closest and it’s a pay to park facility but it probably has bathrooms whereas the free parking does not.
Shelley, thank you for your review your recent stay at Palms of Destin, we appreciate your comments. We hope you will consider ResortQuest for your next beach vacation.
Untrustworthy housekeeping staff
My husband forgot his duffle bag with all his belongings, and housekeeping never turned it in to lost and found. We paid a lot for a three day stay, so u hope that the employees working for ResortQuest wouldn’t capitalize on the mistakes of others. This has put a damper on my whole perspective of this facility. I will never stay here again.
Thank you for your review and I apologize for the lost items. I am forwarding to the manager for further investigation.
We’re terribly sorry that the items you state you left behind were not located by our staff. While we, like all other rental management companies, cannot take responsibility for items left behind by guests, we will do everything we can to help recover items when they are left.
In rare cases where our housekeeping vendors report finding no items left, and our guests fear they are not being truthful and that there may be a case of theft, we encourage them to notify the local authorities, just as our Guest Services Manager encouraged you to do so. We will always comply with law enforcement investigations into such allegations in the hopes of recovering items.
Again, we apologize that the items you left were not recovered and hope that you understand our position on these matters.
