Property type apartment
Minimum Stay 4 nights

About the property

Apartment for 4 people 1 bedroom and 2 bathroms (1 en suite)

The apartment is located very close to the Vatican Museums (50 meters), and it is particularly comfortable for those who wish to visit the Vatican area: Saint Peter Cathedral, Borgo Pio (a Roman medieval neighbourhood), Sant' Angelo Castle are all places which are within a 10-15 minutes walk. But getting to Rome’s other historical centre sites is very easy by the Metro (the subway stop

Cipro-Musei Vaticani is just 100 meters from the apartment). Youcan reach the Spanish Steps (Piazza di Spagna) in just four stops.

A couple of blocks from the apartment is the Andrea Doria fresh fruit and meat market (great food) and if you wish you can prepare your meals in the apartment kitchen. However in this central area, lively and safe, you can find many restaurants, bars, cinemas, where mainly locals hang out.

The public parking is in front of the apartment.

The 70 square meters apartment has been recently fully refurbished, keeping all the art deco features of the 1930 building. It is at the second floor of a 4 story building with elevator.

It can accommodate from two to four guests and it is composed by a large hall, 1 main bedroom with a double bed (160 cm X 200cm), a spacious living room with a sofa-bed, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms with shower (one en suite), air conditioning and central heating. There is wifi broad band connection and satellite TV

The flat was very cosy. Modern decoration in a spacious area with all the facilities and gadgets you need for your stay.

It´s near the Vatican, St, Peter's Square (10 min walking) and within 2 minutes walking to a metro station (Cipro). Bustops are right at the front door. You are really near everything in Rome.

It felt very nice in the hustle and bustle of the city to know that we had such a comfy home to return to.

Perfect Vatican location

  • 5 of 5

Apartment is 5min from Vatical Museum, 1 min from the subway, 2min walk to small supermarket store. You can get very quickly everywhere with subway. AC saved our life when it was 37C. Wi-Fi, washing machine, all you really need. I would definitely come back in the future, and recommend to all my friends and family. Clean and really nice.

Great ice cream just downstairs, we tried at list 10 different ice cream places and this one was the best. Restaurant downstairs has great pizza, pasta was not the best. Few blocks from the apartment really great restaurants, just use Google and check the ratings.

Wonderful, convenient to sights and amenities

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at St Angelo Emo for 4 nights in April and were very pleased. The apartment was quite attractive, secure, a few blocks from the Vatican a few blocks from supermarkets, restaurants, shops for momentous and food. It was right above a bus stop for the 492 that took us to half the sights we wanted to see. It was also just over one of the best gelatarias I visited. I loved opening the big bright windows in the morning while I drank my coffee and made plans for the day. The trade-off of traffic noise was to be expected, but I still slept well. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were great.

Exceptional Rome Apartment

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had a memorable trip to Rome for the canonization of Mother Teresa. From the time we inquired about this apartment, the owner was very responsive and extremely helpful. He eased all our concerns and even provided assistance with a taxi upon arrival. The apartment was exceptional and in a very safe neighborhood. It was a fifteen minute walk to St. Peter's Square and ten minutes to the Vatican Museum. During our early morning (4:45am and 5:30 am) walks to the Papal Audience and events at St. Peter's Square, we felt safe and did not encounter any problems. The market, fruit stand, bakery and ice cream/gelato shop were all a short walk from the apartment. The kitchen was fully stocked and while we were used to a microwave, the lack of one, did not pose a problem. The washing machine was SO convenient and hanging the clothes to dry was not a big issue. The internet was great and allowed us to call our family in the US without incurring high cell phone costs. I have to say that we were fascinated by the adults and children that would gather in front of the church across the street until late into the night to talk and play. This apartment is truly a "home away from home." We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Rome.

Lovely apartment

  • 5 of 5

My husband and i spent 5 nights at this apartment recently and I was so glad to have picked it. I was working for most of that time so I wanted a place that would be comfortable for my non-Italian-speaking, gelato- and coffee-loving husband. He did great from this location and even became a regular at a good pizzeria just down the street.

When not out enjoying Rome, we enjoyed the comfort and decor of the apartment. High ceilings and tasteful design choices abound. There was a rug suitable for yoga for me. Having the two bathrooms was a treat after having shared a small one at a hotel. We are not big air conditioning users, but it was hot some days and having those effective A/C systems to run was great. There was plenty of storage space.

I did not get to meet Paolo but he and his wife were supportive and pleasant as we prepared to arrive and leave.

This is good value. We recommend it.

Lovely apartment!

  • 5 of 5

This apartment exceeded our expectations! It comes fully equipped with everything you will need for a wonderful vacation. The kitchen EVEN has an oven for baking! It lacks a microwave, but that was no problem for us. The kitchen comes furnished with pots, pans, utensils for cooking and eating, and dinnerware. The rest is up to you. The apartment is very spacious and well-maintained. The apartment owner, Paolo, is so warm and friendly and lives in his other apartment in the same building, so if you need something, he's right there. And as far as the location goes, you couldn't ask for better. It's, literally, right around the corner from the Vatican. There's a grocery store down the street, the Metro is right across the street adjacent to the apartment and there's a restaurant two doors down called La Rustichella that has AMAZING food and a SPECTACULAR waiter named Gregory. You just really couldn't ask for more from a vacay in Rome! If we are ever fortunate enough to return to the Eternal City, I will be booking this apartment again.
