Apartment for 2-4, 200mts to Vatican Museum, 50mts metro, wifi, A/C, TV SAT free"""

Bedrooms 1
Property type apartment
Minimum Stay 4 nights

About the property

Apartment for 4 people 1 bedroom and 2 bathroms (1 en suite)

The apartment is located very close to the Vatican Museums (50 meters), and it is particularly comfortable for those who wish to visit the Vatican area: Saint Peter Cathedral, Borgo Pio (a Roman medieval neighbourhood), Sant' Angelo Castle are all places which are within a 10-15 minutes walk. But getting to Rome’s other historical centre sites is very easy by the Metro (the subway stop

Cipro-Musei Vaticani is just 100 meters from the apartment). Youcan reach the Spanish Steps (Piazza di Spagna) in just four stops.

A couple of blocks from the apartment is the Andrea Doria fresh fruit and meat market (great food) and if you wish you can prepare your meals in the apartment kitchen. However in this central area, lively and safe, you can find many restaurants, bars, cinemas, where mainly locals hang out.

The public parking is in front of the apartment.

The 70 square meters apartment has been recently fully refurbished, keeping all the art deco features of the 1930 building. It is at the second floor of a 4 story building with elevator.

It can accommodate from two to four guests and it is composed by a large hall, 1 main bedroom with a double bed (160 cm X 200cm), a spacious living room with a sofa-bed, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms with shower (one en suite), air conditioning and central heating. There is wifi broad band connection and satellite TV

This home away from home was wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

This home was clean, convenient, and comfortable, which is what we were hoping for. The owner was wonderful showing us around the apartment and offering suggestions for our convenience. The property was across from a Catholic Church, had a couple of fantastic, welcoming restaurants, close to a small grocery store and was a great location near a delicious selection for gelato. The apartment also had a bus stop right outside. Another convenience was a short walk to the subway. If we ever return to Rome, this would be our first choice for our stay! It was a wonderful experience!

A wonderful, welcome surprise!

  • 5 of 5

When we first arrived, we weren't so sure if we made the right decision. However, when we were greeted by Paolo, we felt immediately at ease. This apartment is exactly as it looks on the Home Away site. It is very clean, comfortable, close to the subway system, the Vatican, Vatican Museum and two of the best restaurants we enjoyed for most of our evening meals. Directly across the street was a Catholic church, so attending Mass even more convenient than here at home. The best gelato was just a short walk down the street from the apartment. We would have no problem at all recommending this location to family, friends or anyone looking for a place to stay in Rome! What a great experience we had throughout our trip! Sad to say goodbye.

Nice apartment, perfect location

  • 5 of 5

Nice and clean apartment with a comfortable bed. 3 minutes from metro and a bus stop is just next to the entrance to this building. We could easily get to any place in Rome. Check in process was easy. The only negative point about the location was the street noise at night, but I am an older person and have problems with sleep.

The flat was very cosy. Modern decoration in a spacious area with all the facilities and gadgets you need for your stay.

It´s near the Vatican, St, Peter's Square (10 min walking) and within 2 minutes walking to a metro station (Cipro). Bustops are right at the front door. You are really near everything in Rome.

It felt very nice in the hustle and bustle of the city to know that we had such a comfy home to return to.

Perfect Vatican location

  • 5 of 5

Apartment is 5min from Vatical Museum, 1 min from the subway, 2min walk to small supermarket store. You can get very quickly everywhere with subway. AC saved our life when it was 37C. Wi-Fi, washing machine, all you really need. I would definitely come back in the future, and recommend to all my friends and family. Clean and really nice.

Great ice cream just downstairs, we tried at list 10 different ice cream places and this one was the best. Restaurant downstairs has great pizza, pasta was not the best. Few blocks from the apartment really great restaurants, just use Google and check the ratings.

Wonderful, convenient to sights and amenities

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at St Angelo Emo for 4 nights in April and were very pleased. The apartment was quite attractive, secure, a few blocks from the Vatican a few blocks from supermarkets, restaurants, shops for momentous and food. It was right above a bus stop for the 492 that took us to half the sights we wanted to see. It was also just over one of the best gelatarias I visited. I loved opening the big bright windows in the morning while I drank my coffee and made plans for the day. The trade-off of traffic noise was to be expected, but I still slept well. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were great.
