In this cozy unhurried space of the world, think less crowds and more peace and quiet. Think warmer weather, striking sunsets, and strolling down miles of abandoned beach. You won’t be in any rush to go home from this island paradise, rather, you’ll long to come back to this peaceful retreat for more reasons than one, but here are a few...
1. The beach’s sand and the pool’s cool waters are, 16 seconds from your back door:
Easy access out your back door makes for mere steps away from the pool deck and beach. This unit is conveniently located just steps from one of the only complexes on this beach that have their pool deck right off the beach! Other complexes’ pools are in the middle or at the front of the complex with no views of the beach. In our complex, if you don’t want to mess with the sand and changing tides, lay out on the pool deck and feel like you’re on the beach since you’re only steps away!
In addition, we are the CLOSEST COMPLEX TO THE BEACH! Restrictions prevented other complexes from building as close to the sand dunes as we are, so we are one of only two complexes on this beach that don’t have a long boardwalk to the beach...again, just steps off the pool deck till your feet hit sand!
2. This is a High Demand Ground Floor Unit:
(A)- No stairs to battle with. Pull up five steps from your front door and unload your luggage, this unit won’t have you battling with stairs to unpack your bags and groceries.
(B)- Fast access to the beach and pool. In upstairs units to reach the pool or beach you walk down stairs and around the complex, in this unit, you open your back door and make a mad dash for the water! Perfect unit for kids, as there is green grass out your back door to play on, and kids can easily run from the pool back to the unit to get a drink, go to the bathroom, etc. with you watching them from the pool deck. Note: there is a fence surrounding the pool so young kids cannot just walk out the back door and wander into the pool area.
(C)- Master bathroom in the Master Bedroom (hard to find). We have found so many travelers are coming with friends, extended family, or children, and couples want to have their own bathroom-- not share one. Enjoy your private master bathroom in the master bedroom, and let other guests enjoy a shared bathroom next to the second bedroom.
3. Peaceful Island Homes with Great Design are Hard to Find:
This fabulous unit touts tranquil tropical decor with classic island flavor. Red Hibiscus and green palms frame your windows with the pool and beach waters beyond that, creating a peaceful, lush beach view. Layout is spacious and functional. Kitchen is fully equipped to create gourmet coastal cuisine. Living room is comfortable with big TV, or face a wall of glass to watch the sea. Private patio right out the back door with chairs to sit and relax. Master bedroom is comfortable and beautiful with large windows surrounded by tropical plants. Large king bed is comfortable and will tempt you to stay in bed all day. Master bedroom also has large closet, glider chair and ottoman, TV, plenty of storage space, and bathroom. Second bedroom has two full beds and is next to a full bathroom. This unit is also equipped with FREE secure high-speed cable wifi dedicated to this unit. Note- this unit does not have a land-line.
4. You won’t have to Angle for Space at the Beach in Front of our complex:
The locals say Crescent Beach is the way old Florida used to be-- unpretentious and uncrowded and it’s even better at the Coquina Condo Complex. In the fifteen years I’ve been coming here, I’ve never had a time where I wasn’t on the beach by myself at some point. Part of this is because the Coquina is near the middle of the beach, thus, you don’t have a lot of people coming from the public access ways. Secondly, on one side of the Coquina you have a small house, on the other side you have a small sister complex to the Coquina. In addition, the Coquina is a small complex with only half of the units available to rent, for all these reasons combined, the beach in front of the Coquina stays uncrowded for the most part.
5. Crescent Beach and St.Augustine are a Perfect Place to Please Everyone:
This stretch of beach offers a bit of everything, from shopping and nightlife, to adventure and golfing, to hundreds of restaurants with gourmet offerings from around the world, to opulent relaxation. About Marisa Dye
My name is Marisa and I am a boutique-type manager that specializes in managing only high end units near St. Augustine. While I’m different from working with an owner (this is what I do for a living so I am fast to answer emails, always available by phone/text, and treat this as a business) I am a lot like an owner as well, in that my roots at Crescent Beach run deep. Crescent Beach was my grandmother’s beach. Her father drove the local school bus in nearby Palatka and each summer they took the bus to the beach, drove onto the sand and spent their vacation camping. My grandmother grew up and moved out west but couldn’t quite get the sand out from between her toes. Every summer she and her husband would pack their five kids (including my mother) into a station wagon and drive 2300 miles back to Crescent Beach. I didn’t drive cross-country or camp in a school bus, but when I was a teenager my parents purchased a unit on Crescent Beach and I grew to love this beach as my grandmother had! Some family traditions should never die, so I now vacation right here on Crescent Beach with my kids, who have also come to love this still uncrowded beach my grandmother played on 75 years ago. Because I was the “Guest” before the “Manager,” I have a unique approach in the way I work with guests This haven from the world is not only in my blood, but also in my heart, so I love introducing others to Ponce de Leon’s magical city of St. Augustine or inviting them to sink their feet into the sugary sands of Crescent Beach and build unforgettable memories that don’t wash away with the incoming tide. Crescent Beach on Anastasia Island is like a secret we hesitate to share, and yet can't keep to ourselves. The beaches are not very busy, and can sometimes even be vacant (where else does that happen?)! The locals still describe that as the way “old Florida used to be��� with uncrowded beaches. It���s surrounded by entertainment and adventure and over 365 restaurants, and yet we are always content just breathing in all our condo and the ocean out the door has to offer! If you want crowds-- go to Daytona or St. Augustine beach, if you want quiet pristine beaches come here!

A relaxing break from winter
My friend and I had a lovely time staying at this condo and wish we could have stayed longer. It was clean and comfortable. The pool is great and love the close access to the beach. It was a wonderful spot for a relaxing break.

We love this condo! It is spacious and very well equipped and ...no stairs. We sit on the sofa and see the sunrise, have breakfast and walk the beautiful beach!
We love St.Augustine...lots to see and do there and close to other areas with interesting spots to visit!
We have met many new friends who return each year and we stay in touch.
This year there is new guest bedroom furniture and new living room furniture and a new TV.
Coquina is a little gem. Our two month stay flies by....we are already looking forward to next year!

Great Beach Rental
We had a very nice stay in this unit for an early spring break with my wife, son and his girlfriend. Nicely furnished, great location, beautiful view of the beach and pool. The King mattress in the master could use replacing but otherwise very comfortable. Thanks!
We had a wonderful visit to Crescent Beach and this condo was perfect. Great communication on rental! Sunrises were beautiful each day. We have been to many beaches and this locale tops are list for the most tranquil and restful experience. The grounds and condo were immaculate.
We love the St. Augustine area and this condo is in a perfect location...close to old St. Augustine, not far from Flagler Beach & Daytona Beach if you want something different. We have teenage and young adult kids that come with us and for the most part we just hang at the condo and enjoy the pool and the beach, although we visited several restaurants in the area and went parasailing in Daytona Beach, too! Definitely coming back next year!
Within fifteen minutes of this condo is everything you could ask for! World famous golf courses, historical sites, sports and recreational opportunities, shopping, theater, and more restaurants that you could eat at if you chose a different one each day of the year!!! St. Augustine is the oldest city in America. The cobblestone streets are quaint and attract thousands of visitors a year both for it's rich history as well as it's hundreds of different entertainment and recreational opportunities. So whether you enjoy adventure, history, wining and dining, or spend all your time on this quiet island and it's pristine beaches-- you won't run out of things to do!
