About the property

4 bedroom villa, 3 bathrooms, sleeps 8

New property. Standing within immaculately kept grounds of well tended lawn, ornate raised flowerbeds and pretty terraces, this recently constructed home offers a winning combination of well proportioned rooms and a stylish presentation. The provision of both heating and air conditioning throughout adds further to its appeal, ensuring comfort at whatever time of the year.

The focal point of the ground floor accommodation is the welcoming sitting room, where wooden beams and exposed stone create a charming backdrop for comfortable furnishings. Three of the bedrooms are on this level, whilst the fourth occupies a spacious area under the eaves and is privileged to its own balcony, from where an impressive vista of rural scenes takes in the mountains of the Sierra de las Nieves on one side and those of Grazalema on the other.

Perfect in so many ways!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the house which truly felt like HOME, it's location, our hosts, and the proximity to Ronda. Pepe and Eugenia were extremely gracious and very attentive. The house was spotless, and very homey. Ronda continued to amaze us. After a full day of touring, it was a treat to return to this very special and comfortable vacation rental.

Stunning property with beautiful grounds

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this villa. I drove down to the property from our home in Scotland and my father and wife flew into nearby Malaga airport. From there it was approx. 40 minutes drive to the property.

The property is inside a gated community and has itself a second gate which opens into the driveway. The grounds of the property are simply stunning with plenty of space and lovely design.

Inside the villa was very spacious and comfortable - our only complaint being that the tiled floors felt a little cold underfoot. There was plenty of room however for us to enjoy ourselves and a great kitchen for cooking meals.

The owners were also very friendly and welcoming and attentive to whether we were enjoying ourselves.

Great place!

Gorgeous villa, lovely host and in a beautiful location

  • 4 of 5

We were eight of us, visiting the area to attend a family wedding. The villa was perfectly located for our needs, and also for visiting nearby Ronda which was a beautiful town and well worth a visit. We were sorry we couldn't have stayed longer. We were met, at the property, by Eugenie, who was delightful and presented us with a very welcome bottle of wine on arrival. The villa is just as lovely as shown on the website, and was very clean and well equipped. There were many essentials provided, tea, coffee, olive oil and many other store cupboard requisites. A bowl of fresh fruit was also provided, a very nice and welcome touch. We had a most enjoyable stay, and Eugenie was most punctual arriving at our agreed time on our departure date.

I would have loved to have awarded 5 stars for this property but for 2 very small issues. Firstly, the directions were spot on, but it would have been helpful if the name of the villa was displayed outside. We arrived at the correct location, but didn't know we had. Eugenie did arrive within a minute of me calling though.

Also, the living area is lovely and very comfortable, during the day. In the evening and at night though it would have been nice to have more lamps for low lighting. We did loosen the bulbs on the chandelier, but this still provided quite harsh lighting. I know this is a minor issue but it would have made quite a difference.

Nevertheless, we had a most comfortable and enjoyable stay in lovely accommodation. I would highly recommend this property to potential renters

Owner's Response: Dear guests. Thank you for your review. We are happy you found the villa with all you needed for your stay and enjoyed the fruit and wine on your arrival. We do our best to welcome our guests as they deserve. There are six bulbs on the living room chandelier and a floor lamp. We would had liked you had contacted with us if you needed a higher power. It would had been replaced . The communication between guests and owner is very important for us. That is the reason because we give our telephone number to be always available ( directions, doctors....) Thank you again for your time and hope to see you in the future

Beautiful Villa, Smartly Furnished and Equipped

  • 5 of 5

This lovely four bedroom house was built by the owners for their son, but now that he is working elsewhere is available for rental to guests who value comfort, convenience and cleanliness. We were two couples, choosing one bedroom upstairs and one down, so we all had plenty of privacy. The living/dining rooms were handsomely furnished & equipped, as was the kitchen.

The small outdoor pool was a little chilly late in the season, but we took dips regardless. We used the outdoor grill & seating area near the pool on several occasions.

The villa is 15 minutes from Ronda, an historic town where modern bullfighting began. There are many other attractions, including flamenco, a Picasso museum, several churches and a handful of good restaurants. It's just a 10 minutes drive to is El Muelle de Arriate, located in a former train depot, for a delicious and authentic comida (mid-day main meal).

Eugenia & Pepe were gracious and attentive hosts, responding quickly to any questions or needs, including a necessary trip to a walk-in medical clinic to have stitches removed from a pre-trip injury.

We would definitely return & recommend as a wonderful home base for this part of southern Spain!!

Wonderful Villa

  • 5 of 5

We spent 2 weeks at this fabulous villa which had everything we needed. The only niggle was dogs barking some mornings but other than that the location was very peaceful. Eugenia and Pepe could not have been more helpful. We visited Ronda a few times which is beautiful. We would definitely recommend the Restaurant Ortiga. Visited Zahar, Malaga, Marbella and Gibraltar. We wanted to visit other places but the weather was just too hot. It was nice to spend time at the villa. We would definitely stay again if we came back to this region.

Beautiful villa!

  • 5 of 5

We've just had a wonderful week and couldn't recommend the villa highly enough! If you want something quiet, private but with great entertaining space (we had a BBQ every night apart from the one night we dined out!) and amazing pool, this is the villa for you. It comes well equipped and Eugenia is so helpful pre arrival with directions. Plus she will help you liaise with local cab drivers/ restaurants should you need help. You will need a car to explore Ronda (beautiful town and where supermarkets can be found for all your BBQ wishes and breakfast stuff etc...) and the surrounding areas. We also did a day trip to Zahara and enjoyed tapas amongst the cobbled streets. Perfect!

Thank you again and we will hopefully be back. We loved every moment and return to the UK very well rested!

We wish you well for you summer 2016 season.

Best wishes,

The house sits off a small country lane in an area of other similar properties and with its picturesque mountain backdrop enjoys an essentially rural outlook. Nonetheless, the bustling centre of historic Ronda with its ancient labyrinth of narrow streets and wealth of shops and restaurants is just a 10 minute drive away. Even closer to hand are two local ventas (country restaurants), which serve traditional fare.
