Spacious apartment on 5th floor, in quiet cul de sac off Rue de Grenelle. Easy access to transportation,restaurants and shops, and Les Invalides, and Tour Eiffel, Rue Cler. Great for two couples or family of 4. Very light, all amenities! 2 bedrooms with double beds and sleeper converted couch in living. Bathroom is quite large with separate shower and tub, double sinks.

There is a WC (toilet) separate with wash basin (two toilets in all. Kitchen, fully equipped with lots of counter space, has a small view of the top of the Eiffel Tower. Spacious bathroom, double sinks, shower, and separate bath, with outside window. Plus separate WC (toilet) with sink.

Optimal location-lots of public transportation with buses and metro, near the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides and Musée Rodin. Rue Cler is 3 minutes away, filled with delightful restaurants and shops.

I am probably in one of best locations in Paris, 2 berms on the 5th floor very light and 1 1/2 baths. I am one block from the famous Rue Cler and Champs de Mars. There is lots of bus and metro transportation within 10 min walk. Very convenient for day to day living, eating and getting around.

This is a very spacious apartment, comfortable for 4 people for long stays of a month or more. There are all amenities, fully equipped kitchen, dining, and salon with two bedrooms for two guests each! It has balconies and windows in every room!

Lovely apartment in great location!

The apartment was just lovely and such a great location. It was really nice to have a charming place to return to after a busy day of sightseeing. We found lots of wonderful places to eat and most of the nearby merchants were very helpful. Overall, a wonderful choice !

Spacious, Convenient, Easy Living, Well Stocked

This light and airy apartment made our stay very easy. The kitchen had some basics for cooking , so we just added fresh groceries as needed. We really appreciated the washer and dishwasher. On a rainy day, we took our clean, but wet clothing to the laundromat dryers across the street. Soooo much more space than a hotel room. We, 4 adults, could gather together, or spread out to rest or relax. Elevator is a great help, especially with luggage or shopping. We had a lovely stay.

Perfect home away from home!

What a wonderful location and apartment. We had everything we needed and even though my husband and I didn't do any cooking, the kitchen was stocked with everything you'd need. Actually Judith's home was bigger than expected, very clean, and her list of how to use everything was very helpful. The area around the apartment was fun and close to buses and to the Metro that we used everyday. Lots of places to eat, buy groceries, and thank goodness no lack of great bakeries. And we ran into Rick Steves while we were there which wasn't that surprising since Rue Cler is one of his favorite streets.

Judith's apartment is WONDERFUL!!!

This is an excellent example of why I prefer finding a private apartment over a hotel.

The apartment is perfect. Two competely separate toilets. A giant, cozy bathtub. A clean shower. No kold, no mildew. The towels smelled freh and clean. The appliances all work great. And the oven is fantastic! I wish my high-end oven in my own home worked as well as this one! A complete kitchen with a huge (for Paris) refrigerator and freezer, a double basin sink large enough to comfortably prepare big meals, a four-top range, and all of the cooking tools you need to easily make nice meals.

Ventilation is never a problem. Even during a heat wave in August, the apartment stayed much cooler than outside ambient temperatures. There are large windows in every room that catch great breezes and let perfect light into the apartment without heating it up from the solar. That's rare. And they all have curtains to darken if necessary. The water from the tap tasted better and was colder than the water from my expensive upscale refrigerator back in the US. And when showering, the hot water comes from a central location in the building that never runs out. Trust me, three teenage girls tested that well.

It's quiet, peaceful, and charming. It's safe, secure, and upscale residential. The elevator works great. There's no noisy construction or commercial activity near it. It's within a 15-minute walk of nearly everything a visitor wants to see in Paris, like the Eiffel Tower, the Grand Palace museum, the Musée d'Orsay, the Assembly National, and the world's best supermarché (Le Grande Epicierie) and my favorite department store in the world (Bon Marché). And for the places farther away, like the Notre Dame and BHV Marais, there are two metro stops only a few hundred meters in each direction (Ecole Militaire and La Tour-Maubourg).

This is one of the best location in Paris- it's right near Rue Cler, which is one of the best streets in the world. Seriously, google 'rue cler', and you'll find it mentioned with affection. Four outstanding greengrocers, multiple excellent restaurants, four wine shops, specialty butcheries, specialty cheese shops, specialty seafood shops...the list is the reason I come to Paris. And they are all a 3-minute walk just around the corner.

This is the apartment I've been searching for in Paris, and I am definitely returning. Thanks, Judith! This is what VRBO is all about!

Great Apartment - Very Spacious

We stayed 4 weeks in the lovely apartment. It's only a block from the famous shopping district in the 7th - Rue Cler. For 3 weeks, it was just 2 of us; for the last week, there were 4 adults. Space was not a problem. The building is secure and has a lift. Located on the 5th floor, at the end of a dead-end street, the apartment is above the limited street noise. You could not ask for better and still be in one of "old" Paris apartment buildings. Large windows in all rooms and 12' ceilings add the spacious feel. i agree with other reviews about location and description of the apartment. The owner was available by a free phone call to the US or by email when we had questions - she was most helpful, but we only need to contact her about minor questions.
