This apartment is offered by Italy Perfect. We are a family business with a mission! We want you to love visiting Italy as much as we do. We are sisters Lisa and Pat Byrne who lived in Italy in our youth and now travel there frequently for business and pleasure.
We offer only short term rentals that we carefully hand pick for their locations, furnishings, amenities, and that we can personally recommend and would want to stay in ourselves. We travel frequently to inspect, and usually stay in, the rentals we represent. We select vacation rentals that offer charm, good locations, cleanliness, quality furnishings and hospitable welcomes. We count the number of steps up to the property, check the size of the refrigerator, shower, listen for noise, inventory the kitchen equipment and even inspect the mattresses. This is our most important point of differentiation which sets us apart from many other vacation rental firms. Even with careful advance research and personal connections, we still choose to not represent more than 50% of the properties we visit. And, once we agree to represent a property we regularly re-inspect it to ensure our standards are being met.
There is something to love in Italy for everyone. If you love art and history, Italy is marvelous. But you don't have to be crazy about art and history, nor do you have to speak Italian. Do you like fashion, shopping, cars, geology, photography, relaxation, hiking, biking...? There are riches of every sort waiting for you in Italy. And the foundation for your enjoyment of Italy is its rich culture and wonderful people. It is impossible to appreciate the Italian culture in a dispassionate manner; you will, at every turn, meet the hospitable, gentle, courteous, friendly, and happy Italian people. That is why vacation rentals are so wonderful; you get to meet people and the culture in person.
We want you to love your vacation, love Italy, and love the service of Italy Perfect.

We stayed in the Teodora apartment for our first visit to Rome. It was a perfect location with walking distance to everything. The apartment was spacious and clean with a small terrace and great windows that open up to the busy street below. Our host was very accommodating and even stocked us with drinks and snacks! Highly recommend. Also the AC works very well :)
We spent seven nights at Teodora and found it to be the perfect place from which to explore Rome. The location is stellar, just a stroll from the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. The apartment offers great space and was perfect for us! While the kitchen is not state-of-the-art, it is very well-equipped and highly functional. We loved the espresso bar across the street and the food shop below us...as well as the huge variety of shops all around. We found great restaurants and a good food market within a couple of blocks. We used Stefano, the driver recommended by Italyperfect, several times during our stay and we recommend him highly: very knowledgeable and professional, as was our greeter when we arrived. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and we would use Italyperfect anytime on return trips to this great country!
From the minute we walked in to the apartment just one block from the Spanish steps we felt completely at home there was a very thorough walk-through which showed us how to work everything in the apartment. The location could not be more perfect and the other plus to the apartment the two bedrooms are on either side of the apartment so for two couples that is perfect. The Café bistro across the street serves wonderful cafés and pastries and just down the street is a grocery store that had all of our needs met. Mostly wine needs. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of closet space. The living room window one opened is a perfect place to just stare down at the people on the street below and just watch Roman life and tourist life passing by. Gladys Kravitz would be in heaven . It was so nice to come home to a very comfortable apartment rather than a hotel room. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great location and a comfortable apartment. I'm actually looking into other properties that Italy perfect has for my trip next year . Thank you Pat.
This apartment is perfect if you want to experience Rome as a travel who wants a local feeling. If you want to be very close everything, this is it. Very spacious with high ceilings and lots of light. We were welcomed on time and very warmly. Very central to all areas. Couldn't have asked for more for my dream vacation celebrating 30 years of marriage. We will come back again soon!!
This was our second stay in Teodora and it was perfect. The location is outstanding; we either walked or took public transportation to all the sights. The Trevi Fountain is close enough for an after dinner stroll (and perhaps a gelato) every evening. We stayed 2 weeks with the goal of living like Romans. Teodora gave us that experience. There are many outstanding restaurants within easy walking distance. Our favorite is Colline Emiliane (reservation required and if you want to feel like a local ask to sit in the back dining room). The apartment is spacious, the kitchen fully functional and both bedrooms large enough to comfortably accommodate a couple. We had 2 guests join us for a week and the space worked perfectly. We even cooked in a couple of evenings (sometimes an Italian primi and secondi can be a bit much regardless of how much you walk). There is a dishwasher and a washing machine (with large rack to dry your cloths). We will return to Rome and we will also return to Teodora.
PS. First time we stayed the wi-fi connection was marginal. That has been corrected and is now very fast.
We stayed at this Apartment for four nights after flying from Washington, DC, to Rome and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.
Location, location, location. The location is simply great. It's a short walk from the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Not much father to the Borghese Gardens and any number of other sights, and a fairly easy walk to the Coliseum and the Forum. And there's a Metro station near the Spanish Steps that will get you a quick trip to the Vatican and surroundings.
Great restaurants, shops, Enotecas and Gelato are on every street and corner.
The apartment itself, hidden behind a nondescript door on Via Francesco Crispi, is spacious and well appointed -- two bedrooms, two baths, a main room, dining room and kitchen. And a washing machine! A real plus if you're on a long trip. The apartment is on the second floor, up a few flights, quiet and restful after a busy day of sightseeing, with a secluded interior small courtyard. Wifi included.
Again, we very much enjoyed having a quiet place to hang out after a busy day in the crowded streets of Rome.
The apartment in Rome was great - perfect location; the extra space was greatly appreciated; the Italy Perfect staff was warm, welcoming and helpful; the beds were very comfortable; the bathrooms were fine but the kitchen could use a freshening up (although we weren't using it). There is also a convenient coffee bar right up the street for breakfast (Cafe Lembo).
Robert was there to greet us and his first day tour around Rome turned out to be most helpful. We fully appreciated it the next few days as we made our way around the city. The highlight of our excursions in Rome was our day with Franco. He is a treasure. So knowledgeable and easy going. Full of useful tips.
Picking up the car from the outskirts of Rome was much better than picking it up in Orvieto. It would have been very difficult to arrive in Orvieto without a car. We would have had to rely on taxis all the time to get from the train station to the hotel and the hotel to the town. (BTW, we were lucky to get a free upgrade to a hybrid, automatic drive. Very helpful on those winding Tuscan roads.)
Spanish Steps is the finest neighborhood in Rome.
