Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, one sleeper sofa (Sleeps 8)
The cabin has a large modern kitchen with slate floors, wine refrigerator, and all the amenities. The dining room table expands to seat eight.
The great room/living room is carpeted with a propane fireplace, TV with Dishnetwork, HBO and Showtime, stereo, leather overstuffed couch with two matching overstuffed leather chairs with ottomans.
The master bedroom is spacious with a sliding glass door out to the second story deck with a view of the mountains. It has its own bathroom with two vanities and slate floors. Bedroom No. 2 also has a sliding glass door onto the deck. Bedroom No. 3 is also large. All the beds are queen size with pillow top mattresses and high thread Pima sheets. The leather couch in the living room pulls out into a double bed sleeper sofa.
The main bathroom is huge with a slate floor and tub and shower.
There are two decks, one off the great room with a BBQ and chairs and table for meals , lounging, and enjoying the view. Stairs lead down to the campfire pit area. The second deck is off the two upstairs bedrooms, also with comfy chairs to relax in and enjoy the trees all around.
We have a six person hot tub, and a sauna large enough for 3 to 4.
We have a small attached apartment with a separate entrance and driveway on the opposite side of the cabin where we sometimes stay. The hot tub, sauna, deck and all the amenities are for the exclusive use of our guests. You probably won't even know we are there, but if you have any questions or issues we are there to help.
The gated community of Snowline has a clubhouse with WIFI, basketball court, tennis court, pickleball court, playground for the kids, and a small lake where kids can fish. It is a very safe community, with an on-site manager who patrols the area throughout the day and night. There are hiking trails within a short walk from the cabin. The roads in Snowline are paved and perfect for kids to ride bikes.
And, we are only 15 miles from Mt. Baker Ski area!
We do everything we can to keep fast, reliable internet service. Technology being what it is, occasionally, but rarely, the wifi wil go down. There is also wifi at the Snowline Community Club house, which is less than 1/2 miles from the cabin. And at Chair 9 restaurant, also less than 1/2 miles away.
We have a Pack-and-Play and high chair available for a small fee when requested ahead of time.

We are lifelong Snohomish County, Washington residents, where we raised our son and daughter. We have always spent our time outside, either skiing, hiking, boating, or cycling. We love Washington and all the outdoor activities.
Owner/manager purchased this Cabin in 2004
Why Owner/manager chose Glacier
We skiied at Mt. Baker for years before we purchased our cabin. So we knew how incredible the skiing is, and how short the lift lines are! We thought we were purchasing a ski/snowboard cabin, but we enjoy the hiking and biking and the beautiful spring, summer and fall mountains just as much. And now our kids and grandkids love coming to Baker.
What makes this Cabin unique
Our cabin is special because it is big enough for family and friends all at one time. Kids and grand kids love our hot tub, the outdoor pool, the playground equipment, playing ball in the huge grassy field, playing air hockey and ping pong in the clubhouse, shooting hoops, playing tennis and pickleball, riding bikes through the community, the fire pit, and the short hike to the river. The outside deck is a favorite for parties and BBQ's in the spring, summer and fall. The fire pit is nice because everyone loves a campfire. And relaxing in the sauna or hot tub after all the outdoor activities Mt. Baker has to offer is a great way to end the day.

Comfy cabin, lovely neighborhood
We had two families (4 adults, 4 kids), and it was just perfect for us. The neighborhood was great for kids, clubhouse with ping pong and air hockey, a large field, a playground, pond with fish for fishing, and a pool for summer swimming. The kids biked a ton in the quiet neighborhood, and there was a great trail a couple of houses down that accessed the river and Forrest. We skied everyday at baker while there and enjoyed the proximity and quietness. While there’s a pullout bed downstairs, the kids slept in one room, and adults in separate bedrooms. Sauna and hot tub were in great shape. Would definitely come back. Thumbs up!
Wonderful cabin in the woods
The Baker Big Buck Lodge was perfect for our family and friends. It is large and very clean, and perfect for two families. We all loved the hot tub and sauna. The kids liked walking to the large field and playing in the snow, and playing foosball and air hockey in the community clubhouse. There were two nice hikes in the woods and along the river within walking distance from the cabin that were beautiful.
We were able to meet the owners who were staying in their apartment, which we didn't even know they were there until they stopped by to see if we had any questions, and they offered us sleds for the kids to use, which was appreciated.
We are planning to come back again. It was wonderful!
Comfortable, cozy, and clean getaway.
Wonderful getaway for the family. Close to skiing or just staying put with walks or reading by the fire. Great kitchen for cooking and very comfortable beds. Enough for a large family or several couples. Hot tub and sauna were very appreciated.
7 guests (3 couples and 1 single) and a small dog stayed here for 3 nights on a snowboarding trip. The cabin was in great shape, very clean and everything in good working order. It was a bit rainy at Baker, so we spent a lot more time around the cabin than expected. The hot tub was fantastic. If I had one complaint, it's that the kitchen ceiling is pretty low, which makes it feel a tad cramped. Not enough to take off a star though.
Overall, yes, I would recommend this cabin.
Clean, comfortable home
We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable for 4 adults & the owners were very responsive to an issue with the cable system. The kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you need to cook & there is ample seating for eating.
Other renters should be aware that this property is technically a duplex of sorts. The owners have an apartment attached to the main house & were onsite during our stay. We were unaware that they would be there.
We are always glad when our guests have a good time at our cabin with their friends and family.
To be clear, our cabin is not a duplex. It is a three bedroom private cabin with a small owner's apartment on the back side where we occasionally stay. The apartment has its own entrance on a different side than the cabin entrance, and it has its own driveway on the opposite side from the two cabin driveways, and is accessed from a different street. If we happen to be staying there, the cabin guests have exclusive use of the hot tub and sauna and the cabin deck and the fire pit. Guests only know we are there when I come and introduce ourselves and tell them if they need anything, let us know. That is why we were able to take care of Meg's satellite TV issue so quickly. We are also able to answer any questions guests have, give advice on where to hike, ski, bike and eat out, and help out when guests lock themselves out or have a dead battery.
If we are here when guests arrive, we are happy to loan out our sleds, snow shoes, wagons for kids, et cetera.
Not only was the cabin well stocked, updated, and warm, but it was SUCH an advantage to have WIFI, a landline phone with free calling, and HBO. We've stayed in many other cabins in this area that were not equipped with any of these services!! It made the vacation possible during the week, so that my husband could be reachable for work.
Thank you so much.
Mt. Baker is a world-class destination for skiing and snowboarding. Many Europeans choose to ski and ride Mt. Baker. In the summertime the hiking, mountain climbing, and biking - both mountain and road - is just as spectacular. We have been on at least 10 different hikes where the beauty takes your breath away. And there are plenty of logging roads and trails for mountain biking. The beautiful 17 mile ride up to Artist Point is very popular with road cyclists. The Ride 542 competition in September draws lots of cyclists. The nightlife in Glacier is typical of a resort town, where the skiiers and boarders, hikers and mountain bikers gather to share stories. Be sure to stop at Mt. Baker Winery on the way up for some tastings of excellent wine.
