We come from from the Midwest so our love for all seasons makes Big Bear special.
Why Lori chose Big Bear Lake
Close to Snow Summit, Lake and the Village. The cabin feel, smell of pine, and slow pace of Big Bear makes this a great place to unwind.

Clean, comfortable, a great getaway!
This cabin was the most fully stocked we've ever stayed in!!! They had everything you need! We loved the jacuzzi, and it was a very comfortable cabin! vlose enough to walk to town! Very clean!
Great cabin, nice location.
Perfect for 3 couples. Loved the spa.
We had a Griswold vacation. Everything that could go wrong...did. As we were trying to go down the driveway we got stuck on a pile of ice in the middle under the car. A tow truck had to pull us out. A really nice huge tractor came by (after my husband shoveled ice with a borrowed shovel for 2 hrs) and cleared the driveway. The cabin has all the amenities that are listed and everything was clean and in working condition. The cabin was actually exactly what we expected minus the ice. The owner is responsive. The neighbors were really nice too. The rest of our vacation was straight of a movie...our kids got so sick and we had to leave early. Otherwise the cabin was great! We used the hot tub, showers, fireplace, boardgames. Downstairs bed is a little hard. The cabin is centrally located to downtown/lake and mountain.
Fantastic location, great for Snow Summit skiing
We stayed here for 2 nights as a group of 6 while skiing at Snow Summit. We were able to walk up 3 blocks to the mountain and ski down the road back to the house afterwards. The house was clean and cozy with all the amenities needed to cook and relax. Hot tub and fireplace both work very well. The owners are responsive and accomodating. Overall a great experience and I would stay here again.
Great location, good kitchen amenities, decent beds
Lori was very accommodating and responsive. Nice place that is easy to get in and out of. Hot tub was great. Could use a better frying pan, but would stay there again.
Adorable, clean & cozy cabin
As soon as we walked in, we knew we'd love this cabin! So clean and inviting our family felt right at home. Lots of amenities to enjoy your stay, looked just as it did in the photos. Very close to nearby food and snow summit! Would absolutely stay here again.
- We had 6 adults and 1 child and were very comfortable during our stay.
Our favorite outdoor activities include hiking, (lots of maps and brochures in the cabin), Mt biking, (There is a bike tram at Snow Summit that takes you to the top of the mountain with all sorts of bike and hiking trails) or just take it to the top for a bottle of wine and lunch. Big Bear golf course has 9 holes, there are also snow/water skiing, renting jet skis and kayaks. More water sports include; a ride on the pirate ship, parasailing, and fishing or pontoon rentals that are available at the marinas. Pier fishing is easy at many areas along the lake or there is Swim Beach and park for a play ground, and tennis court. For winter play an abandoned ski area is near by or for a less strenuous day, use the Snow Play and Tube to get ride up the hill. Arts and entertainment; there are weekly live music events, nature activities found , the bowling barn, the Village Theater for movies and live theater C.A.T.S. City sponsored events are ongoing with much more information, brochures and discounts found at the visitors center in town. (630 Bartlett Rd)
