About John Morich

Semi retired couple who love the ocean and Old Orchard Beach. We have been coming here for over 20 years on vacation and moved here 3 years ago. We are living the dream.

John Morich purchased this condo in 2012

Why John Morich chose Old Orchard Beach

We have come to vacation in this area for 25 years.Location is wonderful. Beach lovers forever summer and winter.

Easy access to Portland Maine that is a beautiful city.

Reasonable distance to Boston by car or train.

What makes this condo unique

We choose this property because of the view of the ocean from the deck. We also liked the location where you can walk to the center of town and all the activity but in the evening you are far enough away to enjoy a quiet evening

Absolutely Loved This

  • 5 of 5

Two friends and I rented this condo in September. It was our first trip to Maine and we chose a perfect place to stay. We were within walking distance of shops and restaurants and the ocean was just over the dune. It was cozy, comfy and clean and our hosts were wonderful. We would stay with them again if we come back to the area.

A wonderful condo close to the beach

  • 5 of 5

This condo is wonderful. It is very close to the beach - you can see the water from the porch and you only have to cross a small parking area to reach the path down to the beach. It is within easy walking distance of the Pier but is far enough away that noise isn't a problem. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The entire condo was spotless. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend it.

Great place to stay in a great location

  • 5 of 5

The place was exactly what we wanted, clean, cozy and close to the water (very close). Even though the weather was less than ideal, we had a great time. After talking to the condo owners we followed their advise and took the Mail Run ferry from Casco Bay Lines in Portland for a delightful 2.5 hour ferry ride/tour of Casco Bay. We followed that up with another owner suggestion and had a great and filling seafood lunch at DiMillo's, an old ship still docked in the harbor. The food and service were outstanding. We were there at 1 PM on a cloudy day in mid Sept. and the place was packed--so in busy season I would make a reservation. The rest of the day was spent browsing the shops in Portland and finally buying our dinner for the next night at a fish store close to the docks (sushi grade Blue Fin Tuna and salmon).

The next day was still grey so we explored Kinnebunk and Kinnebunkport for another relaxing day followed by a long beach walk.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and really liked the condo. It had everything we needed and was quiet and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.

One last thing. If you are looking for good espresso, breakfast sandwiches and baked goods try Dolce Creme right on the waterfront across from the amusement park. The food is great and the owner is very friendly.

Simply an amazing place!! We had a wonderful time being in Maine!

  • 5 of 5

The condo was so comfortable and bigger than I thought. It was clean, beautifully decorated and a very short walk to the beach! One of the most beautiful beaches! Close to Portland, Kennebunk, York. We took a ride on the mailboat in Casco Bay which was wonderful and interesting. We also took a trip to Lubec. We saw many lighthouses and had delicious seafood in Cape Porpoise at the Chowder House; at Cape Elizabeth at the Lobster Shack and in downtown OOB at the Buoy Bell. Stayed for 2 weeks and it went so fast. Would go back to this same place in a heartbeat! Just loved it and Lynne was fantastic along with John. So friendly, available and welcoming! Thank you for a fabulous vacation!
