About Mike Croce
Three families from Colorado are proud to own Five Timbers Cabin @ Granby Ranch. Living close by in Fort Collins, Loveland and Denver we absolutely love being in the Colorado outdoors to enjoy activities including skiing, golfing, fishing, mountain biking and hiking. We are all Colorado natives and with years of experience visiting Colorado resorts feel that there is nowhere better for the ultimate outdoor family experience than Granby Ranch.
Mike Croce purchased this Cabin in 2012
Why Mike Croce chose Granby
Having visited and stayed at Granby Ranch for more than five years we fell in love with everything the area and this property has to offer. Our cabin is the most amazing retreat that allows us to slow life down and enjoy true mountain living. Sitting on the deck and enjoying the views, curling up in front of the fire while it snows outside or hosting family and friends for memorable weekends, our Cabin is perfect for our families!

Fabulous Mountain Home
This place was perfect for our two families and had everything we needed. We plan on booking again for next year!
Well equipped, comfortable and convenient
Great accommodation for my group of 11. Nice kitchen and the 3 baths worked well with our gang of teens! Lighting was poor in some areas / table lamps in bedrooms. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will book it again in the future.
Perfect Mountain Getaway
We have chosen to stay here multiple times because of it's location! It is close to Grand Lake, Winter Park, and tons of fun in summer and winter. It is the perfect mountain getaway to relax and spend time with family. We would stay here again and again.
Beautiful property, wonderfully stocked with everything we needed. The view was gorgeous in both sunshine and snow.
Good Location to explore Grand County
Ideal for three couples - 3 bedrooms, 3 baths. We were there off-season during the week - Monday-Friday. Very quiet with no one else around. Modern conveniences and fairly new. Good internet, cable, kitchen appliances, etc. A few minor complaints, the biggest being inadequate lighting. 2nd bedroom was lit with one 60 watt lamp with a dark shade - impossible to read at night in that room and other lights were on the dim side as well. Owner was helpful and responsive in answering our questions. Everything worked but the oven was not as clean as it could be and there was some difficulty finding the kitchen utensils. Those complaints are minor and we recommend it - would like to return some day. Location is great to explore the Winter Park area to the south, Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park to the north. Good City Market close by.
Good weekend - could've been better
The rooms and beds served their purpose well for my group of 11. Three bathrooms were essential when we were having everyone get showered and dressed before the wedding that we were attending. There were plenty of towels and kitchen items like plates, glasses, coffee mugs, etc. The gas grill was nice and helpful for feeding a large number of people. The owner answered my texts quickly whenever we had a question. Overall it was a good experience.
Biggest negatives from our experience: they didn't update the door key code on the HomeAway app so we couldn't get in right away. [I texted the owner and he responded in an hour with the code. The correct code was also sent in an email that I personally missed so it was not completely the owner's fault. I just wrongfully trusted th HomeAway app.] The hot tub and pool are located at a community center as opposed to right next to/outside the condo so we didn't use them. The code for the lock on the garbage dumpsters did not work.
