Close to the slopes
Very nice place, close to the slopes and dinning. Very well kept. Updates were nice also.
Sleeper sofa not passable as bed
While we loved the location, this unit accomodates 2 (3 people at most) and not 4. The sleeper sofa is literally a 4-inch mattress that sags (so you will roll to the middle during sleep) and with springs readily felt throughout the entire bed. My 7 and 9-year old spent two nights on it and then refused to sleep on it. My husband and I then slept on it and we couldn't spend another night on it--it's that bad. We went through several permutations of sleep arrangements, including 3 of us in the bedroom bed (not advisable) and eventually my husband ended up sleeping in the living room chair. Since we had a 5-night reservation, this was by far the worst sleep arrangement we've ever had on vacation (we've used sleeper sofas before with no problems). The couch is passable to sleep on for 1 person. Plus, with the sofa pulled out, you cannot access the patio door without crawling on top of the sofa sleeper. Space is incredibly tight and extra furniture compounds the problem. There is a armoire in the bedroom that takes up valuable space for suitcases and tiny closet that has space taken up by owner's things. No vacuum in unit. After 6 days of meals, I was ready to pick up crumbs by hand. There is no housekeeping that services unit. We had to wash our own bathroom and kitchen towels during visit. Laundry is coin operated--be sure to bring small bills or coins. There is not enough space to hang up wet items. With wet snow gear, wet bathing suits, and wet shower towels, we quickly ran out of room to hang up all the wet stuff. Bathroom was not as clean as expected. On first day, I rolled up bathroom rugs because they were the fluffly type with rubber backing that never dry between showers and I found hair on the floor that was not the color from my family and lots of tiny pebbles. There is no liquid hand soap in kitchen, just dish soap and no spray cleaner. Bring your own. Dishwasher is installed incorrectly at an angle, although it functions. Just be careful to watch your head when stooping as racks will roll down at you every time. Not a ton of baking trays for things like nuggets or french fries. Bring your own tinfoil. And no pizza cutter. Great things were location--right across hall from pool door and quick walk to gondola. Quickest way out to slopes is thru garage. Kidtopia is right next door, although it's geared more for pre-schoolers. If you want a pool, you won't want to walk to another building in the cold and snow.
Better Than Advertised
Great location in the heart of River Run!! Condo was better than expected and was an instrumental part of a great vacation. We will definitely try and stay here again!!
Perfect one bedroom close to the slopes
Modern, clean one bedroom. First floor, close to the pool and hot tubs. Easy walk to the shops, restaurants and Gondola.
Condo has all the items you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of cooking items, should you decide to cook in.
Parking inside the heated garage was a nice touch.
I would definitely stay here again.
Very well-maintained one-bedroom condominium near the slopes
We enjoyed the easy access, fireplace, hot tubs and pool at slopeside
Comfortable condo, close to all the activities. Wonderful pool area, but need a barbecue area at the Dakota. Had to walk across the parking lot to use the barbecue area in another complex! That was inconvenient.
Located 100 yards from the Gondola and Summit Express Chairlift. Grocery shopping in Dillon 8 miles, Outlet shopping in Silverthorne 10 miles, Lake Dillon 8 miles, on bike path
