Located approximately a 1 hour drive from the Calgary International Airport, Canmore is in the heart of Canada's Rocky Mountain playground. Our retreat is a short 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive to downtown Canmore, or a 20 minute drive to Banff.

The condo itself is found at The Lodges at Canmore – Grizzly Lodge. Our cozy top floor retreat consists of 2 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen), 2 full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, in-suite laundry, a spacious living room with gas fireplace, and a large 12x12 patio with a great view. Amenities include an outdoor pool (which is heated year round), three hot tubs, an exercise room, and underground heated parking. Other in-suite perks include a 42” LCD TV w/Blueray in the living room, a 32” LCD TV in the king bedroom, a 26” LCD TV in the queen bedroom, private WIFI, IPod and Android music players, dvd library, and a gas BBQ. For your day trips to Banff, a National Park pass is included for your use.

This is a family owned vacation property. We have lived in Alberta our whole lives. We have travelled around the world and have seen many sights. Every time we come back to Canmore we feel blessed to have such close access to one of the most beautiful, scenic places on earth.

Why Randy Kozak chose Alberta

Our family lives approximately 3 1/2 hours from Canmore. Over the years, we have spent a lot of time hiking, fishing, skiing, and golfing here. Due to this, we finally decided to take the next step and purchase our own little piece of paradise. Due to the amount of time we've spent in this region, we can provide many helpful suggestions to our guests so they can make the most of their visit to this region.

What makes this condo unique

We love the amenities that The Lodges provides. After an active day outdoors, we return to have showers and fire up the bbq to grill some great Alberta beef. We then like to go for a swim in the outdoor heated pool or just lounge in one of the three hot tubs. In the summer, we then sit on our large patio and converse while drinking a glass of wine all the while enjoying the view. In the winter, we pop some popcorn, turn on the tv, choose a dvd from our library, and watch it while sitting by the fire. For those that can't stay awake long enough to watch the movie, our bedrooms are on the opposite end of the unit so they can retire for the night and those choosing to stay for the movie don't have to worry about turning down the sound. During ski season, the underground parking is a bonus as we don't have to spend time warming up our car and brushing snow. This is a vacation property for our family far above being an investment property. Our guests can be assured that we have furnished this place to how we expect in our own homes. We are certain that our guests will feel at home the minute they put down their suitcases.

Thanks for the great place. We had a wonderful time. When we come this way again we hope we can stay at your place and will recommend it to anyone traveling to the Banff area. Spent a fun Canada Day in town, swam in the Quarry and watched the parade and fireworks.

The accommodation was perfect for our family. Well presented, stocked and supplies and very homey.

The location was great, just a short walk into the hub of Canmore. The unit was clean, with great furniture and furnishings, well stocked for a perfect family stay. The little things made it a very comfortable and happy stay like the quality of kitchen items, towels, well stocked pantry and easy to use appliance. Our family loved the board games. great parking and onnsite facilities.

Perfect all around

I can't say enough good things about this rental. Randy was very easy to work with. The condo perfectly met our expectations. Being on the top floor, it was very quiet and had good views. The underground parking was a nice perk as we had a snow storm during our stay. We had everything we needed to cook meals during the evenings. We enjoyed the little touches to make it feel very homey such as games and puzzles for the evenings and even the cute pictures from a local artist (we're shopping for our own now). I'll definitely stay here again when in the Canmore/Banff area!

Wonderful choice

We stayed in the apartment for a week, it was a great stay! The location is great for venturing out and grocery stores and restaurants are readily available (you will need a car). The apartment is very comfortable..from the beds to the sofa. It has more than you would expect...coffee, sugar and creamer..You will also find paper towels, toilet paper..even some shampoo.

The owner, Randy, is responsive and very easy to deal with. Check in and check out was completely trouble free.

If you are looking for a base to explore the region, this apartment will work...We wouldn't hesitate staying again...

Homey Condo in Canmore

We had an incredible stay in this condo for the week. It was nicely appointed, the sheets were delicious, and it was fully stocked with anything we would need for the week. The building itself was being repainted and the hot tub fixed but we didn't mind, there is a hot tub and pool right across the way that we were able to use as part of the building. Location wise, it's just a five minute walk to the new pool/climbing wall complex and another few minutes walk to downtown. There's tonnes of trails nearby and the views are spectacular. Couple all that with pleasant interactions with the owner and there's no question we'll stay there again next time we want to get in some skiing.

wonderful stay !

We thoroughly enjoyed your comfortable condo - especially the fantastic bed !! Unfortunately the hot tub in our building was not working and the second hot tub location was not convenient for our use (outside and across the parking lot). Canmore has a lot to offer -- restaurants and shopping -- and is located right off the highway for an easy drive to Banff National Park, Lake Louise, etc. We hope to make a return visit in the summer !!

The condo is very comfortable and lovely. Randy is pleasant and easy to work with!

The property and amenities for the most part are nice. A bit of wear is beginning to show in places. The hot tub jets on the second floor of the Grizzly Lodge were not working during our stay. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. A peaceful and relaxing setting and experience.
