About the property

New Cozy 2 Bdr-1 Bath Ranch House

Wait no longer! A PRIVATE viewing of Elk, Deer and Turkeys in a surreal setting. Our newly remodeled ranch house has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and is very quaint and cozy! It is nestled in an aspen tree grove on a private ranch. Our elevation is about 7500 ft. in the mountains, making the cooler air a real treat after a full day of hiking in the National Parks. This ranch is the heart of where the deer and elk make their summer home. This little piece of heaven is an absolute must for the person looking for an amazing experience and not just a place to lay your head. It is an excursion all in itself! You will enjoy a scenic 1 mile drive on a graded dirt road to the ranch house. The view from the porch is unlimited!! Our ranch house is a unique opportunity to view wildlife up close, but it is absolutely necessary to keep the noise to a minimum to get that experience. You will view elk, turkey and deer on the front lawn. There is an outdoor cooking area with a barbecue and picnic table. The area is covered with a aspen log pergola with the view of wildlife in the meadow for a great outdoor dining experience. A place like no other!

Cleaning fee waived on a 7 night stay!!

Absolutely no pets and no smoking!!!!

Our newly remodeled ranch house is centrally located between Zion, Bryce and Cedar Breaks National Monument. Enjoy the amazing scenery and famous hiking trails. Aspen Mirror Lake, Navajo Lake and Panguitch Lake are within minutes of the ranch house along with several excellent fly-fishing streams/rivers. There are over 500 miles of atv trails. During the summer, enjoy the beautiful wild flowers and wildlife.

This cozy, quaint and newly remodeled ranch house is fully furnished with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. There is satellite TV/DVD for your convenience. For you baseball fans, not to worry....we have the MLB package, so you won't miss a game of your favorite team. There is a queen size bed in bedroom 1 and a queen size bed in bedroom 2. For sure, this is a great home base for your Southern Utah vacation. Just minutes away you'll enjoy visiting the national parks, taking in a fishing day, atv or horseback riding, a day at the sand dunes, hiking or just a simple picnic.

There is a fire pit! You can enjoy roasting hotdogs, marshmalloooows or the kids new favorite (starburst candy)!!! The roasted marshmallows make the best roasted dessert, s'mores!!!! (graham cracker, chocolate, roasted marshmallows). Just put the chocolate and roasted marshmallow between the graham cracker and it makes a great sandwich dessert. Mm.. Goooood! You'll never forget it!

Fall Season... the color change of the leaves are a sure thing to talk about!

There is an international airport in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. Cedar City has a regional airport as well. Las Vegas and Salt Lake City are both linked with Interstate 15 with an exit to Cedar City. It's just a short 40 minutes on a beautiful scenic drive up the mountain on Highway 14 to our ranch house.

Should you happen to forget something, there is Tod's Country Store that is just 2 miles away and has a pretty good selection. Groceries, gas, gifts, liquor, beer, wine, ice, soft serve ice cream and a self-serve grill to cook your hamburger or steak sandwich to your perfection!! On Saturday mornings during the summer months in Tod's Country Stores' parking lot, there is a great farmers market and fatty's barbeque.

Come visit, you won't be disappointed!

Wonderful little hideaway with great wildlife viewing

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect spot for our 4 day southern Utah visit. The house was clean, in great shape and very well equipped. Nice big windows that open for fresh air, good light and pretty views. The surrounding land is stunning. The fire pit was a huge bonus. Really enjoyed sitting out at night around the fire and sitting out front during the mornings and early evening watching the mule deer and elk. Maybe having one more chair would be good. We brought hammocks that worked nicely on the poles near the picnic table.

Having the washer and drier available was really helpful for us as light packers.

There is no dishwasher, but not really a problem. There is also no internet or cell service unless you go down the road, but again this was sort of a blessing!

Highly recommend.

Even better than advertised!

  • 5 of 5

We spent 3 nights at the cabin/cottage and had a wonderful time. Location was perfect for touring the National Parks and nearby lakes. Wildlife viewing was much better than even we expected. Elk and deer grazed less than 20 feet from where we sat on the front porch. We counted well over 50 animals in the pasture that included deer, elk, coyote's, Turkey's and a few playful Utah prairie dogs. Cabin was well equipped and very comfortable to stay in.

The only negative we could find was the lack of cell/internet service at the cabin which would be a problem in case of a medical emergency.

We would certainly stay here again and would recommend this property to all who would like to get away from it all after a day of touring the parks and surrounding area.

Quiet Cabin with view of wildlife

  • 5 of 5

We cherished the peace and absolute silence this cabin offers. It was a pleasure to start each day viewing the abundant wildlife and relax at night when they returned. The cabin is modest in its amenities but more than makes up for it by providing a very hard to find peace, privacy and contentment. Both Bryce and Zion are very close.

Scenic secluded cabin in the woods perfect spot to stay for Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park

  • 5 of 5

The area around the cabin is incredible. A wide open meadow filled with deer, elk and wild turkeys. Really beautiful. The cabin was very very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances. We cooked all of our meals there. The kitchen and living room area have large windows that overlook the incredible view of the meadow. It was very cozy. Outside there are chairs on the porch to enjoy the outdoors. There is a fire pit with plenty of wood around and a picnic table in a lighted pergola. We didn't have any phone service so we would have to go to the gas station to get service and WiFi. We went to Zion National Park one day and Bryce Canyon National Park another day. We loved them both. The cabin is perfectly situated in between both parks. I would recommend this cabin to others and I would stay there again.
