15 mins by tube to West End. This is a bright and cheerful ground floor 1 bedroom and 1 living room flat, sharing a nice private patio and garden with the next door flat.
It is situated in a lovely Victorian building and is furnished and fitted out to a high standard with a double bedroom and a living/dining room incorporating an open-plan kitchen.
If you want to visit London, this is a warm, cosy, safe place to stay.
RELIABLE WIFI & MOBILE/CELL PHONE RECEPTION
The apartment has a high-quality mobile/cell phone signal booster with roof aerial to enhance reception and prevent cut-offs.
Wifi is provided with office quality connection. Both services are free.
NOTE: if getting a British mobile phone on arrival, avoid Virgin mobile, as the apartment gets no signal from this network supplier. There is no problem from other major UK networks, such as EE, O2 and Vodaphone, all of which co-operate with the major US and other national networks to provide a good mobile/cellphone service in the UK.
Although older children are welcome we regret we do not accept children under 8 years of age. One child sharing the apartment with one adult only, goes free.
If there are 2 adults, each child of 13 or younger is charged at £10 per night. From 14, children are charged at the full adult rate.

There is a high quality king-size bed in the bedroom that can be split into twins if necessary, and a good quality double sofa-bed in the main living room.
The sofa-bed is slightly smaller than a standard British double bed. A standard double bed is 54 inches (135 cms) wide. But our sofa-bed is only 45 inches (115 cms) wide. Please ensure other members of your group are aware of these details.
All new, with cotton sheets and top-quality bedding.
Only three minutes around the corner to Willesden Green tube station, which is on the famous Jubilee line, zone 2, which means it is just 15 mins to the West End in Central London (Bond St/Oxford St). Trains run all day at a very high frequency with arrivals every 2 or 3 minutes.
RESTAURANTS & CAFES
The flat is just off the high street, where there is a Sainsbury supermarket, lovely pub/restaurant, Costa coffee bar, Italian and Indian restaurants including many more restaurants and cafes nearby. There is of course a typical English fish-and-chip shop as well, very nearby. Just around the corner there is also a handy 24 hour supermarket open 7 days a week.
There is a Nat West Bank just round the corner; a Lloyds, Barclays and HSBC bank also nearby. There are plenty of shops in the high street and also two chemists. Gladstone Park, only a 10-15 minute walk away, has been awarded the coveted Green Flag Award.
For your arrival we provide fresh towels, fresh bed linen, duvets, sheets, covers and pillows. All bills are included with high-speed, continuous, good connection to our Wi-Fi and also a strong, reliable cellnet/mobile phone connection - often lacking in cheaper apartments in the London suburbs!
Street parking is available: I can provide virtual Residents Parking permits, £2 per day, with your first day free of charge.
On arrival you will find a nice welcome pack so you will have some basic food supplies saving you having to shop for things such as cooking oil, salt, sugar, milk, tea, coffee, pasta and pasta sauce, and 2 small packs of cereal for breakfast next morning.
THE KITCHEN AREA
This is open plan in the living room and is not in the bedroom, like so many other flats! Apart from the usual things like a cooker, a large fridge and microwave oven, there is a kettle, a cafetiere, an iron and a nice fat cat, no I was joking! There´s no cat.
A deposit of £250 will be required against damage or missing items from the property, repayable after your departure.
CLEANING & LAUNDRY CHARGE
The cleaning and laundry charge is £40 if only the double bed was used. If the sofa-bed was used as well, there is an additional laundry charge of £20, making a total of £60. This is payable upon your departure.
CHECK-IN; CHECK-OUT - LIMITED ACCESS TIMES
Check-in is after 12pm, but before 7pm.
Check-out is before 10am.
These times can vary by prior arrangement.
A very late check-in after 10pm is not available, as neither I nor my assistants live at the property. We understand that flight delays can result in a very late arrival at the airport; in such cases we cannot give you access to the apartment until the next morning after 9am. We can only suggest you stay at a reasonably priced hotel near the airport for the night at your expense and try to recover the cost from the airline or your insurers.
THE HOLIDAY RENTAL AGREEMENT
Guests are required to read the holiday rental agreement listed here specifying special terms including the identity of your host, being a UK limited company by the name of Grosvenor Gardens Holiday Lets Ltd., and insurance in the event of personal injury. Non smoking and no pets, sorry. This is a quiet and peaceful place, so a few friends over for a drink is OK. Friends or family staying over will be charged the going rate per night.
