About Diane Wallach
We have lived in southern California for many years and fell in love with Paso Robles 12 years ago while visiting friends who were planting a vineyard. We purchased a vacation home shortly thereafter and got to know the area very well. We have both travelled extensively through Europe, Asia, and north and south of the United States and the more we travelled, the more convinced we became that we had discovered a real jewel of a place and now that is where we will retire. We planted 350 olive trees and some cab grapes and now produce our own olive oil and cabernet sauvignon. Our 5 grown kids love to come up and wine taste at the local vineyards, hike around the 40 acres, take part in the numerous local events, mountain bike, dirt bike and gaze at the incredible array of stars at night. It is a spectacular place to relax with your family and friends or just have a quiet couples' weekend.

What a wonderful property! My husband and I rented the "Sweetlife Villa" to get away for the 4th of July since our dog is frightened by fireworks. She loved being able to run and chase balls, squirrels, and rabbits. We loved the peace and quiet, the cleanliness of the house, and all of the stars at night. It's about 45 minutes to Morro Bay (dog beach was a big hit) and Hearst Castle. Diane was a peach to work with, and there was a card and a bottle of wine waiting for us at check-in. We'll definitely return!
Beautiful home with a beautiful view.
A great quiet spot to get away from the city. Deers wandering in the morning. Nearby "backroad wineries" to explore. Evenings in the ho tub as you look out at the star-filled sky.
SweetLife Villa was Sweet!
This was the perfect home for our family gathering in Paso. We loved the view from every window. Very nicely appointed home with plenty of room of everyone. The fireplace on the patio was such a treat. We attended a beautiful wedding as Cass Vineyards and we loved being so close. Thank you for sharing ~ we hope to return one day!
Thank you Greer for your wonderful review. Nothing pleases us more than making our guests happy! I hope you will come back and enjoy the area again. I don't know if you had a chance but The Taste of Paso was on Sat in the downtown area with all kinds of restaurants and wine bars sampling their goods. It was the first time we actually went and we had such a great time finding out about all the new restaurants. You might want to put that on your calendar for next year...just sayin!
Thank you again.
Live the Sweetlife!
Great views! Very comfortable house!
We had 3 adult couples, 4 young kids (ages 18 months - 4 years), and one dog for a long weekend relaxing in Paso Robles. Large common room was great for board games, large porch was a hit with the toddlers and their scooters, and the very functional kitchen (with an amazing view!) kept us very comfortable. And the icing on the cake was definitely the hot tub under the stars. So lovely! We found ourselves saying "this is such a sweet life" throughout our visit, and would love to stay here again :)
If you’re looking for privacy and comfort, this is the place for you!
The house is well maintained with plenty of space for our group of 8 to be together without being on top of each other. It is a very private location with a lovely view of Cass Winery’s vineyard and the surrounding hills. We enjoyed every minute of our time at Sweet Life. Pulling up to the house on the dirt road really made us feel like we were truly out of town. We would definitely stay again!
MAGNIFICENT HOME TO ENHANCE WINE COUNTRY EXPERIENCE
We were fortunate to have the opportunity to stay in Diane's absolutely lovely home! It had every amenity we needed and more! The home is a bit secluded - which we loved! We had deer in our backyard every morning! The home itself is immaculate! Honestly, the cleanliness and beauty of this home are unsurpassed with any other home we have stayed in Paso Robles - and we have stayed at quite a few! The kitchen is so roomy that we all had a chance to pitch in with the cooking at the same time without running into each other. We ate every meal at home because it was so awesome (and we all love to cook!) The living and dining rooms were spacious enough for all of us to enjoy! Thank you, Diane, for being available for any questions we had and for being so attentive to our needs. If you are looking for the TOTAL wine country experience and want to pamper yourselves with luxurious accommodations, then Sweetlife Villa should be your destination!
