About Mark Bergman
Deb and I love family, friends, entertaining, wine, food, traveling & Washington State University Cougars! Go Cougs:) Our family consists of two great active boys ages 10 & 12. In the nature of full disclosure our house at times can be a neighborhood hub filled with kids/neighbors, BBQ's and pop by's from friends or family. We entertain frequently however we also will respect our guests privacy. For as long as I can remember growing up we had guests staying in our family home. Our guests ranged from students abroad to friends needing a place to stay. Our favorite places to travel are Napa Valley (wine), Whistler (ski) and Maui (sun)! We are a very active family always on the go...

Wonderful 10 Day Stay!
The custom mother-in-law had everything we needed and then some. It truly felt like home away from home. This rental is very clean and well organized. The kitchen was fully stocked with great quality pots, pans, knives, and utensils. The kitchen also had spices, oil, dish soap, paper towels and garbage bags. We've stayed in many vacation rentals and they never are fully stocked with everything you need. This one had everything. The only thing we needed to buy was our food! The owners Mark and Deb were extremely hospitable and friendly. We enjoyed meeting their dog Tucker too. The home location was perfect and in a great neighborhood. We enjoyed going down to the waterfront and taking a ferry over to Vashon. We will definitely stay here again!
Beautiful, Organized & Well Equipped Home!
We had a wonderful time at this place. The elevator was really convenient, especially if you have a person needing mobility access for a wheelchair, or has difficulty with stairs. Anything you would likely need to use in your kitchen or bathroom at home was already there - and for our family, having a wok and rice cooker in the home was a plus! It really did feel like home! The view is tranquil as well as beautiful.

Very comfortable, clean, and attractive. The view was wonderful and the fireplace was cozy. The owner was very helpful and prompt.
Beautiful Stay in Tacoma
If you are in Tacoma and looking for a place to stay you can't beat this place. The home was gorgeous! My wife and I enjoyed waking up and looking out across the water each morning. The fireplace in the living kept us warm during the cold days. We had a total of 4 staying and the home felt very big and spacious. Mark was a great host who made sure that all of our needs were met. If we find ourselves back out in the Seattle area I can't think of another place we would like to stay. Thank you Mark for opening up your home to us.
Awesome stay, great property.
Mark is awesome, I have to say that straight away. He was so accommodating with every request. I loved the fact that he provided ample towels and supplies. That's always a big thing at a vacation rental. Would totally recommend and absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much.
Great Location, Great View, Great Experience
This was one of the most pleasant VRBO experiences for us. The view from the unit is wonderful, in particular, and the location is within reasonable walking distance of old Tacoma and shoreline restaurants, parks, and shops. Very well equipped, quiet area. Really enjoyed our experience and are looking forward to coming back!
